3d gaming in that budget. I think that would be difficult to get. If 2d FHD gaming then you can go for this MSI R6850 Cyclone 1GD5 Power Edition provided you have a decent power supply.

i meant 3d movies bro,not gaming.can i get 3d movies at that budget? i currently have a cooler master 400 watts[i do plan to upgrade this]

I thought games. Get the MSI R6770-MD1GD5 then for ~6.5k

MSI R6770-MD1GD5

MSI Global ? Graphics Card - R6770-MD1GD5

The HD6770 should be sufficient enough then. But i think you have a CM Extreme power or Extreme Power Plus series PSU. So upgrade to something better with the spare money.

The HD6770 also runs most games comfortable @ 1600*900.

hey guys .. i just chked out SMC int's thread :

nvidia gts450 cyclone edition n MSI Hd6770 were priced at 6490 each.

which ones better??

As you can see from here the HD5770 (Same as the HD6770. The HD6770 just adds 3D and HDMI 1.4a support IINM) is better than the GTS450 Cyclone. So go with the HD6770 instead of the GTS450 unless you need a Nvidia card only.

thanks ill go for the 6770 .. will the fsp saga II psu be enough to power it ?? here is my config :

Intel c2d e7300 @ 2.66ghz

2GB ddr2-667mhz

Windows 7 ultimate - x86

160gb seagate harddisk

Yeah FSP SAGAII 400w ~ 1.9k should be enough. If you can spend a little more then get the Corsair CX430 V2~2.2k. It has one year extra warranty (3 yrs vs 2 yrs of FSP) and also officially 80+ certified and better build.

Corsair CX430 or Seasonic S12II-430.Its for my HTPC based on the Brazos platform , i am looking for a low noise PSU.

Seasonic S12II-430 > Corsair CX430 V2 > Corsair CX430

One more question are there any low wattage(500W) modular PSU available in India asking because my HTPC case the SilverStone GD06 has very less working space and the case can take a maximum of 150mm PSU.SilverStone has the ST50F-P is modular and 140mm wish it was available in India.

[strike]It is an 165mm PSU :(.My case can't take anything more than 150mm,looks like i have to go with the Seasonic.[/strike]

Edit: Thanks for the headsup.I did not see the specs properly the PSU will fit in the case.

LLano for Home theatre enthusiast? Are you serious? Why waste so much money n firepower for HTPC??

Please read the previous pages. I was thinking of splitting it into two. One with a E350 and another with a dual core + dedicated card (GT430 or HD6570 -> low profile) Couldnt get enough time to do. Will do in couple of days.

I think it would be a good idea to add an Asus Xonar DG to Medium End Gaming Rig and above as it is available now locally at the very good price of RS. 1500.
