The team bhp overlord had asked me which this particular hack was ( I'd asked if they could implement it there) they asked me to ask the admins here about it - they weren't sure how to do it.
 
:lol: It really wasn't any hack. This feature was always there in the skin and I overlooked it (Its there in all skins coz its a standard vbulletin feature).

Anyway here goes..

Open the images directory where these thread icons are stored. There you will find that all thread icons have double instances but slightly different names, like..

thread_new.gif

thread_dot_new.gif

Just edit the images which have the "dot" in their name. These images are displayed when the user has posted in the thread.

Simple! :)

I am not sure if anyone has pointed this or not but i have noticed this since the online icon along side the username has been changed.

When someone is online it shows a green icon but when he is not then no icon comes, instead

XYZ is offline such a message comes

If it is something hosted on external site then it wont come as i am in office

Btw one more thing i noticed is that in the reviews section, the member's ratings don't come for all the reviews. I mean for the reviews which has been rated, it does not come for them too. This is on the main page of "Previews and Reviews" section where all the reviews are listed one by one.
 
there appears to be an extra pair of brackets around the permalink hyperlink.

(#231 (permalink)) instead of #231 (permalink) in nocturnal and desaturate :)
 
inconsistencies across screens which should be otherwise the same are usually defects.very very minor ones, but still

They're not there in the default theme, and IMHO belong to the department of redundancy department :P

I'm using elements and its appearing normally as #231 (permalink).
 
oh i thought it was appearing normally in those skins and not this :P

anyways this is a matter for the mad renegade admin
