Its true.

We have another gay DD2 all day server, and its know as Team TechEnclave Server.

The Map was changed to Train, and within 10 min's. Funky started a Vote and it was changed back to de_dust2.

I have noticed, only dd2 going on, with "No timelimit".

Sometimes, very rarely, have i seen fun maps on it. Id like not to see em at all. But anyways as funky says, "We dont get everything we want". Even though, i didnt even ask for a map change :bleh:. I just quit :bleh:.

^^ if ppl like dd2..let em play dd2.
its not as if we r gonna go participate in some international xyz tourney ..so that we have to play all the standard maps.

It is a fun server..ppl want dd2..ppl will get dd2 or anyother map they ask for..thats what vote is ther for ;)

People only Like DD2 coz thats the only Map all day.

If youd put different maps, youd know, how much more fun youll have.

I guess you havent played as much as i have. Eventually youll get bored of DD2.

Im so bugged of the map, i dont play nowadays at all, since its always DD2, DD2, DD2.
 
Adi we tried it all, the people will run away as soon as we put anything other than DD2, DD, inferno and iceworld. thats the fact, and i didnt know how long train was going on, i started vote, you people voted, i dont vote in mapvotes which i start.

And even if i put up multi map vote always DD2 and DD or iceworld will be the maps that will be voted.

Its a public server, noone there directly change the maps on their wish. We dont use admin power like that in the server. It was vote players voted, live with it.
 
I am with ad1 on this... DD2 all the time gets boring... I also didnt like other maps earlier but Interno and train are like great maps... I just realised that when i was made to play on them for a while... yes DD2 is like the greatest map of them all... But others are good too... I will disapprove of TE being a 24/7 DD2 server... Specially as a casual gamer as while casual gaing you shd try all maps not only one...
 
I agree with Aditya.
As I suggested before, lets have a map cycle and STICK to it.

I change to cs_italy once , and funny thing was , no one knew which way to go.
I have played on lots of Canadian and US pub servers , and people are crazy about these maps. The sad part on Sg servers is that people dont play CSS, they play only DD2.
 
funky, if you realised, there were more than 12 people, in the Server, when Train was going on.

And not a single one of em was complaining. Your the one who brought up the vote, and once you give em a choice, itll be DD2 all day. Id suggest, no1 should change the map. At all. Just stick to the Map list.

I think, some1 even brought up a vote on "Is this a nice map to play on?", and "Yes" Won. :|.

@ Switch, i beg to differ, Dust2 is the worst map when it comes to CSS :bleh:.

Try de_nuke and de_cpl_mill, Youll know what i mean.

I dont see why you had to bring up the Vote in the first place.
 
well i agree, even i got bored yesterday of DD2, I put 4 different maps that included cs assult, train, cabble and server will simply be left wih 3-4 players.

Even as i speak have a look, TMG in on train server and noone playing on it.
 
well having a map cycle is one thing and ppl playing the maps is a different thing alltogether..

as soon as the map changes ppl just run away to some other server, coz TE is not the only server around and we cant force all to play a map..

DD2 is boring, so is iceworld, id personally wanna play train, but train is boring as well, aztec, cbble and a few more maps, but then its just me, i cant play in a server alone and hit air :P

Honestly, i dont care, if people are playing there or not, but when the time comes, there will be people there.

If all the servers, had a Map List, constant, then im sure, people would have no Choice, but to play the Maps. and finally start liking em.

Exactly, people simply run away, and i better play full DD2 than 2-3 guys in cabble. i love cabble, i love assult, i love office.
People dont.
People will tolerate these maps only on deathmatch servers and 30 player pubs.

There are 1000s of servers. You cant change all, you dont care about if people play on server or not, hell you dont care about anything but i would like to see people playing and enjoying on TE server.

I said it on server and i am saying it again, you wont get what you want in the real world. You want your maps, play with bots. No offense but thats better than empty server. and for that you dont need internet server.
Adi get this, its simple, play dust2 70% of time or you wont get traffic on your server.

yeah the 3 maps that people like are dd2, dd1 and iceword.. for me Iceworld is gay so anything else is better :P. Anyother map and server goes empty
you can try some other custom maps they do well like fragmax or glasstrap, tennis, or matrix and some other fun maps people seem to like these fun maps.
Most of the other servers like VE are also on dd2 24/7

The oher maps like Nuke, train and inferno are fun but not for pubers most of them will find a nice dark stop and camp their arses off until time runs out. :P
these maps are real fun in scrims

an admin can change the maps (create a VOTE for maps ) please dont put a map cycle.
we just need to make sure that everybody playing on server is ok with a map change, that why always create a vote for them even if dd2 wins :P

I dont mind any map :) as long as everybody including the players and pubers on serevr are happy then I am ok with that. :)

just my 2 cents

^^ Sandy, every Admin of the Server is a DD2 addict too. So dont expect the Map to be changed by an Admin. Ever.
 
To be honest most fun i get while playing is when there are like 6 ppl on the server 3 on each side... The lesser the better according to me cause you then play your game rather then a rush... Whenever there are more number of players it gets boring as people tend to travel in groups and you know what follows next... So according to me for more fun lesser the better gameplay wise ;)...

See Switch, i dont even say anything against any1, and there we go, flaming and Personal attacks start on me.

So the thread title was the least of my worries.

And i have to agree, 6 people in the Server is heaven.

remember the time, when 5-6 people were there on the t.MG server, and i was p00ning your ass :bleh:.

well when he said you, it was a genralised statement Adi, dont get hyper about it....

try and comprehend the statement better....

and i agree with sandy, as long as more than 8 players are playing, any map is ok with me minus iceworld... :P
