Maybe I could be allowed to enter and I could give away the prize if I win

Apex said:OK, you are allowed to enter the contest but you won't be eligible for any prizes. :bleh:
However, if your entry turns out to be better than the actual prize winners, you'll get a mention. :hap2:

1) So when can others see entries made by all?
2) Can game demos played by other people be used for the GD for the SShots?

in designer domain not just photochopped photographs but more designer stuff should be allowed, such as maya/3ds max rendered images, or composites. even animations (including flash)spynic said:is the designers domain necessarily (photograph+photoshop) only?

Crazy_Eddy said:We had a discussion on this among the staff, and we decided to leave it at 'photograph + photoshop' to keep it at a level playing field.
CGI and Flash could make things a bit hard to judge, plus the fact is anyone who knows CGI/Flash ought to be very handy with Photoshop tools as well.
Looking at the photos in the Photography thread, I figure this should be a walk in the park for you guys![]()
spynic said:If you worried about judging across varied software packages,
you could have the contest focused on a particular topic.
(eg. a banner for global warming awareness. This is just an example, could be anything TE related or whatever)
In this way, one's entry can be judged on creativity, software skill and closeness to the topic.
Either ways I will try. Atleast hope its not particularly photoshop,
I may use GIMP/CorelDRAW.
Safin said:Hello, on popular demand we have decided to increase the contest deadline by 15 days.
We were getting a lot of pm's to extend the same as the contest period clashed with exams for many. In the light of that, we believe a 15 day extension is justified.
The contest will now close on the 15th of April, 2009.
