Hello Members,

We are proud to announce the winners for TechEnclave Referral Contest Winners held between 1st December 2005 and 10th January 2006. For more details on the contest, check out this thread - http://www.techenclave.com/forums/techenclave-referral-contest-63500.html

Without wasting any further time, lets check out the amazing prizes the winners get to choose from. Yes! winners can select any of the prizes from the following 5 choices and their chances of making the choices will be as per winning order. That means 1st place holder gets the first priority to select his prize and so on. Here they are -

*Note: susan_angel and Saiyan have same number of referrals but susan_angel's referrals made more posts than those of Saiyan's.

Oh I forgot to mention this [actually i never wanted to embarrass anyone]

We had to disqualify a few candidates coz they tried to gain unfair advantage by using unfair means.

Sorry to say udit-130286 but u've been found guilty of cheating urself.

If u still have any doubts, get in touch with contest co-ordinators. :)

We have many evidence for this but I'm posting just this screenie. This is a list of all the email replies i received frm udit's "so-called" referrals when we asked for email verification. You can come up with your own conclusions.

Udit, the best thing to do is write a PM to the admins and contest co-ordinator's they would surely reply to your query asap and you can take it from there.

Also, one of the reasons is given at post #10, be rest assured all your doubts would be cleared.
 
Dear Members,

We took a lot of time in announcing the results of the contest as we performed a lot of time consuming methods to determine if the referrals were valid or not.

To clear some doubts I am posting the contest rules below again.

Rules said:
1) The contest is open to all members of TechEnclave except Super Moderators and Administrators. Moderators and other staff members not actively involved with the contest are free to take part.
2) Incase of a proxy registration being detected, a PM will be sent to you mentioning the same. At the end of contest, the proxy registered members will not be counted in your total or can lead to the disqualification of the participant citing Unfair Means/cheating in the competetion. The decision of the co-ordinators in this regard will be final.
3) Please allow upto 4 weeks after the contest end date for delivery of the prizes. TechEnclave takes no responsibility for any damage/losses during transit. The web hosting prizes have been sponsored by Web1 Solutions (http://www.web1.in) and they will bear all responsibiity of providing the hosting. TechEnclave will not be responsible for any issues about their service.
4) TechEnclave.com Staff reserve the rights to change/modify any rules of the contest and the contest at anytime, with or without prior notification.
5) The decision of the staff will be final and binding.

So, as per the rules, we have had two disqualifications from the top posts.
1. Udit
2. Arudit

The reasons for disqualification are as follows:

We did recieve replies from the referrals of udit. But, all the emails we got were void of content. Apart from that, the very fact that many of them ended with a similar series of numbers and also the fact that the names entered by the registerant of those E-Mail ids (as seen in the screenshot) were in the format of "aa, a b, og p" and so on. Think logically and you will know the reason behind the same.

Apart from this, it was found that two or three ids were registered with the same name apart from the service provider. Like "xyzabc" [at] "hotmail.com and yahoo.com" and so on.

Thus, leading us to the conclusion that those referrals were invalid.

Apart from this, the registeration IPs were also the same. Despite considering the reasons specified by the member(s), they were found suspicious and unsatisfactory.

It was a unanimous decision by the staff to disqualify those participants who used such unfair means.
In the end, i would like to specify that the winners need to contact the Contest Coordinators within 7 days from the declaration of the result. After which the winner would be declared inactive and the prize will be passed on to the member next in line as per the referrals.

Indyan has claimed the MS Keyboard and DeathDart has choosen the Fan.
We are yet to recieve a confirmation/reply from Susan_Angel.

Once again, i would like to mention that the decision of the Contest Coordinators in the regard of the result are final and binding.
