Bugs i have faced:

read pms are marked as new.

not able to edit post.

cant figure out the feedback system.

have posted still cant see market.

edit : logged in again and voila !!! i am able to edit the posts .

  • Is there any way to set Basic View as the default view? Now, when a page loads, it briefly shows the images before going to basic view.
  • Links in a post automatically fetched the title of the page. Is this no longer possible?
  • One feature I miss most - the ability to edit posts ad infinitum. It helped me correct, clarify or add to the relevant post than adding new posts.
 
Ok, one bug I noticed on my notebook running Vista with FF 8.0

1) When I was trying to log in with my userid and password, I was always shown the message "Incorrect ligin/password". I proceeded to generate a new password which is working fine. But strangely with the 4th try, the old password itself worked and logged me in. Anyway I logged out again and then logged in with my new password and everything is fine. So I guess no major bug, maybe something to do with the way FF archives passwords.

2)In the forum thread listings and the main forum Index , There are avatars shown next to every thread. Is there any way to disable them so that I get the same view I used to get previously? Where is the basic view option?
 
i would like to see forum section fits in the monitor screen completly also in market section i cant see FS/WTB in market section
 
The main forum page seems to have ads which cannot be hidden which was possible in older version
 
K, I also am not able to see the No of people "viewing" a particular thread which was there in the previous thread...

  1. Text is not autosaved
  2. Random and frequent logouts in multi tab scenario.
  3. Unable to upload images on TE server, plus 500Kb total limit

  4. In the messages drop down, some messages' titles' are bold while others are not. For me its for message 2,4 and 10.
  5. "Go to first unread posts" not keeping track of logins. Even taking me back to posts of 19th December. Hell, its even taking me to posts from 17th December 2007

  6. After I had a random logout, I clicked on the sign in button but nothing happened after the loading bar at the top disappeared.
  7. New contents page's list gets updated as soon as I click the next page/another page button. So topics keep on shifting.
  8. Did not get any notifications for the threads I was subscribed to before the upgrade. Still not getting update emails even though its selected in the settings and I have replied in that thread.
  9. When using emoticons from the pop up list, they tend not to get added until u click on the reply and then go back to that pop up and click on the emoticons.

For the width problem, I think there is a blue <==> button to the right of "View New Content" button at the top..... It toggles the width of the theme.....

New bug

Clicking on "New Contents" opens in random "By Content Type".

It has opened for me in Forums (Expected), Members and Pages (for no reason whatsoever)
 
1. I cant see editing options on my post!!

2. And if the thread has more than 1page then if i use the quick reply in the 1st page my post is not getting updated its working when i use the quick reply in the last page..

3. Not able to send pm am getting following error

"The following errors were found You must either choose a member from your address book or enter their name in the appropriate field fully. This personal message has not been sent"

My attachments limit is 500K only!.....maybe that's why i am unable to attach images.....this limit is very low!

EDIT: I am able to edit this post but not the one which I have quoted in this post....
 
after the migration from old to new GUI i was not able to login unless and until i clicked on changed password and stuff like that... also i am not able to see market thread... still trying to get the hang of the new TE....

At first I couldn't log ing. Had to reset the password.

Now I can't start a new gallery. Is there still a show-off section or it's all galleries now?

Edit: I think I needed to post once in the new foum to receive privileges.

Few things I noticed.

My PM space is reduced and as its being looked in to it, waiting for it.

Also reduced is the attachments space showing only 500K as the space, with 1.1 MB of attachments already in place and max file size at 2 MB. So look in to it, #Renegade #renegade

I cant like more that two posts in a day WTF. Forums are meant for interaction and restriction on positive votes will only hamper interaction. #safin

Couple of more issues,

1. Cannot see edit post option on some threads, like this one.

2. When I do click edit post, nothing happens (besides the load bar on top), when I click again it works as it should.
