i have not heard about it either spare my noobiness :ashamed: maybe it is used to track stock exchange fluctuation.

We Have Many Budding Electronic People On TE ,Most of Them Use This Instrument To Measure Like a Multimeter "though this is a Baap Of All Multimeters As This Has Excellent And Very Advance Functions " .Secondly This Instrument Also Houses A Oscilloscope That Measures And Tells Us What Kind Of Signal Is Comming At What Point In a Electronic Board Let Me Explain This With a Motherboard

Well You Know That There Is a Clock Generator IC and Also PWM Generator In a Motherboard .In Laymen Terms There is a IC In a Motherboard That Generates a Square Wave Frequency To the Main Power Mosfets In the Power stage Of The Motherboard ,If This Frequency is Missing The Power Stage Will Not Work Come What May though There May Be Voltage In That Mosfet ,So To Test If The Same Is There We Will Keep The Scopemeter Into Oscilloscope Meter Mode and Put The Probe On The Gate Drain And Source Of The Motherboard Power Mosfet If We See The Frequency We Come To Know The PWM IC Is Working Fine Or Needs Replacement .I Hope I Was even 1% Clear ,You Could Also Take Help Of Wikipedia On Google .

This Has Nothing To Do With Stock Market ,I Was checking the Wikipedia The Material Inside Wikipedia Is Great Have a Look There ,As You Are A Doc ,This is Like e ECG Machine For Electronic Boards Now You Will Get It right Clear

Rockfella Oscilloscopes Are Not cheap .If You Gave a Example Of a UPs Let Me Tell You What It Could do With UPS .First of All It Could Check Waveform Of your UPS When The Same Is Running On Batteries .The Electricity That Comes To Our House Is Basically Sinewave .But when the ups works in inverter mode when there is no electricity going to the input of the ups the output then is not sinewave though it should be .The Waveform Is Quasi Sinewave Means Like Sinewave .So The Better the waveform close to a sinewave waveform the better the ups .All online ups are true sinewave .+ You could find faults in the logic board of the ups if it goes kaput

Electronic And Repair Technicians Here ,Most Electronic Amateurs And Professionals On Te Will Find These Tools Of Intrest To Them .Overclockers Can Use this Instruments To Check Waveforms When they Are Stress Testing Though ,
 
:ashamed: another thing i though it cud be heart meter... whatever its called... u can measure ur heart beat / minute while gaming so that it automatically switches ur heart off if u cross the safe zone heart Beat na? safety first.. gaming later.... buying 14k gadget to measure voltage comes last... logically i wud say this is good investment for overclockers who have oil mine in kuwait or have market within 1km radious from house... but to measure that radious this instrument cud be helpful??? any help wud be appriciated. :huh:
