Screws are there on the current generation iPhones like the 3Gs also.

I like it... but I don't think I'll be able to get it when it releases, cause it seem to use Micro-SIM.

Cant we just cut a normal Sim to make it into a Micro-sim:S as the electronic contact area is no different to that of a conventional SIM

I am pretty much sure, Apple would be forced to change the design of the phone now. and the when the New Gen iPhone is officially release, it would be very different from this leaked prototype.

First why would apple allow the device out of its factory at first place....if it can come out so do cameras can go in the factory

Since its a prototype surely another one will be selected over it....

But still designs is getting better

Seems like 4G has Sucky build quality, chinese looks, eeww buttons.

If its for real then the only explanation could be:

They've kept the body cheap and with gaps for heat escape. Hence they may provide a good processor inside while keeping the total cost same.

Really? you can tell the build quality is sucky by just looking at the pics? Cause had you taken some effort to the read Giz's post, according to them the build quality is great and the feel is pretty solid. In fact even in photos the build quality looks nice, especially when you see the reaaaal close shots of the device.

Same goes for Chinese looks... cause I haven't seen much China phones to look or feel as good as many other original devices. Rather, most of Chinese phone look downright gaudy and tacky. But then again, looks are subjective... your Chinese might be different that my Chinese.

As for buttons... apart from the obvious stand-apart volume rocker buttons, I didn't find any other buttons to look "eeewww". There is also an explanation on why Apple might have gone for separate volume control buttons, that is, dynamic mapping. Say, volume buttons in audio apps or while on phone, but dedicated camera button while in camera app... say one for clicking pic and another for turning the flash on and off.

Now this fone looks ghastly by Apple's standards.

Only thing apple used to lure ppl from every walks of life to give their White Elephants a try ( Wow i am good too.. Maybe Microsoft shd hire me) were the looks dept..

But now with these sorta looks and having the cheek to implement those in your face cant ignore rocker buttons..

Apple is surely trying to jump into fire without the asbestos ( Microsoft are you hearing me)

Apple might have designed this to be more efficient and solid it mite be..but this one really looks like conceived, made and passed in China.

^Seems you don't know much about the iphone. the reason people buy the iphone is not just because of looks( frankly some of the newer phones by htc look better) but the amazing OS and the app store. ofcourse not everyone goes ga ga over a fm radio on your phone considering how shitty the service is. Many people do actually like a phone that does a few important things really well rather than be a jack of all trades but good at none. Such people can always go buy the symbian poop that nokia freq. churns out! And people like me do game a lot on their phones.

I do agree the new iphone looks terrible.Still will buy it when it comes out and hide it in a better lookin case unless someone figures out a way to run iphone OS and apps on HTC incredible or the upcoming dell beauties
