The Amazing Spider-Man hits PC in August

As console gamers get stuck into The Amazing Spider-Man game this week, PC gamers were left wondering when their slice of the cake was coming.

In six week's time, is the answer as it has been confirmed today that the PC version will swing its way to Steam on August 10.

The game will come with Steam Achievements, which is good news, it's just a shame it's so late. No reason was offered for the staggered release.

The game launched for consoles in US yesterday and hits UK shops this friday, and here's a launch trailer to mark the occasion.

Oh dear! So August has Sleeping Dogs, Darksiders II, Sniper Ghost Warrior 2, Dark Souls, Transformers: War for Cybertron AND The Amazing Spiderman!

Tried it before I left for home last weekend. There was some heavy stuttering indoors in the first chapter.
 
I had played through the first 10 minutes or so until the frame rates became unbearably painful and I rage quit! But the game was pretty good although it did seem to lack that classic Spidey's free form roaming mode. It felt a bit different from the previous iterations from Beenox.

it was working fine for me smooth as hell that too on a 8800gt
Can some one please uplaod the save game files somwehere some one who had completed till chapter 9 please upldoad the save game file ti is located here

I liked this game despite having strong dislike for other Spidey games.

Can the save file be commonly shared? If yes, then I can request someone over on another forum to get the saves.
 
well it is in the .fpop format so if the console save game files have the same extension i think it would be worth a try? @Ethan_Hunt
can you do it?

@ubergeek: I meant the PC version saves are commonly swappable or not? If it's profile sensitive, then I'm afraid there isn't much we can do about it. I'll see what I can do.
