CPU/Mobo The best lga 1156 socket board

Hello all,

I have about 5 choices for motherboards here and all of them are within my budget. But all these mobos seem to have fairly the same reviews. So can you please help me decide? BTW I do plan to overclock my system.

- Gigabyte GA P55MUD3
- ASUS P7P55 D
- Intel DP55KG
- MSI P55 GD65
- Gigabyte GA P55M UD2

1. If you OC remove the Intel from the stack, and pick the cheapest one.
2. If you do not OC, then just pick the cheapest one.

They all have the basic same features. Except the UD3 by Gigabyte will offer USB 3.0 support. All have 4 DIMM slots and one full PCI.E x 16 slot.
 
Hi. Gigabyte p55a series boards support usb 3.0. As said, remove intel from list if you overclock. Msi p55 gd65 offers best vfm with support for SLI. But, msi is known to provide worst after sales support. So, if you don't need much expansion slots and are ready to sacrifice pciex1, get p55m ud2.
 
Primarily gaming.

Games like Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare, Modern warfare 2, Far Cry etc.,

Additionally the usual stuff like watching movies, etc., But I wanna build a system that will last atleast a couple of years without me wanting to upgrade it.

And I will overclock my system.
 
And if you are from Delhi, get it from SMC International, coz as far as i know, they claim to handle the RMA of MSI themselves if the product is bought from them !
