PC Peripherals The Best Thermal paste?

Guys help me with this which is the best thermal paste to go for ...i have a quadcore 6600 and sccf and i will be overclocking it.
 
i researched this some time back...

Arctic Silver 5 ws the best, whereas Tuniq tx-2 ws 2nd best but better VFM

tuniq does a good job?...do i have to go for a arctic silver or arctic cooling mx-2 ?
 
I would suggest you go with MX2.

Its slightly better than MX-2 (2-3 deg C) and is also non-conductive. AS5 is conductive.. ie; if you end up messing with the application procedure, you have a chance of shorting sometihng on your board.

Having said this, there really is no point in your going for an aftermarket thermal paste unless you intend to do some significant ocing/have temp issues.
 
Tuniq TX2 bundled wid ccf does fine job for me.

1st use that n then go for mx2 if nt satisfied...:)
