I recently ordered an IS from Zagg for my Ipod Touch ...
Now i applied it and trust me being pretty good at doing that... i was pretty disappointed at the quality, i was more surprised because i have an IS on my Cell phone too.
Now Zagg agreed to send me a free replacement.
In the mean time i ordered a full body shield from this relatively lesser known brand called GadgetShieldz (Clear Cell Phone Covers and Skins | Full-Body Invisible Shields,Screen Protectors | GadgetShieldz)
It cost me 7$' shipped for a body combo. and was delivered within 2 days.! (They are actually Chennai Based)
Now the website claimed similar quality as the Zagg and Body guardz and all....
I put it on the ipod yesterday morning... and its been resting since.. a few minutes back when i picked it up and wiped off the solution residue blah blah.... i was actually surprised at how smooth it was ! specially when compared to Zagg .... to be honest i somewhat feel that my 17$'s (after coupon) were kind off wasted on something which guaranteed the same protection and a better surface for 1/3rd the price!!
The clarity is also better than the Zagg... i dont know if the one i got for my Pod this time around from Zagg was defective or something, but the one on my Phone is still super clear and smooth.
Also the Gadgetshieldz scratch guard seems to be cut out much accurately, Zagg was leaving quite a wee bit of area here and there...
But GadgetShieldz ,considering the price and delivery time is seriously worth it over Zagg.!
Though yes they dont bundle a Squeegee or the solution or the fancy manuals and all....(it came in a basic Envelope).
But over all the Gadgetshieldz seems to be much much better choice over Zagg or any other brand.
Ill be posting comparison pics soon..(battery's charging).
If your device is not listed on their site.... you can submit a request by filling up a form...or just buy a plain uncut sheet and cut it out yourself! HANDY!

The replacement Zagg isnt here yet... so once it gets here ill do a side by side comparison with that too (will be putting that on my sisters ipod)
Do keep in mind that the one i have compared i to is like on the phone for the pat 3 months and has been through rigorous usage...so has become overtly smooth.
Considering the drastic change the Gadget Shield has undergone in 24 hours...i have high expectation for the next 3-4 days. The Zagg was looking very weird and with artifacts after like 30-35 hours. Also i used the Zagg solution to install the Gadgetshieldz...
The textured surface kind off took me by surprise...since i was expecting quite a bit of resistance/friction .... There doesn't seem to be any.
