Guys,

I need to buy wireless Keyboard mouse combo for my system. i am ok with either Bluetoothy or RF.. the cost should be around 3000 rs.. please suggest me one :)

cheers,
Jay

does nobody have a wireless combo in their RIG??

comeon guys tell me something...

i have three options right now...

all the below are RF oriented and not bluetooth..

1) Microsoft Keyboard - Mouse combo 1550Rs

2) HP keyboard - mouse combo 1650Rs

3) Logitech keyboard - mouse combo 1350rs.

I've been using a logitech EX-111 combo since about a year now. The combo works on 27Mhz RF. The mouse is powered by 2 AA alkaline cells and the keyboard by 2 AAA alkaline cells.

The mouse batteries need replacement every 1 - 1.5 months which is a little annoying but the batteries are drained well esp. indian duracell batteries. Foreign duracell and energiser batteries have some left over charge which makes me wanna keep them. So I prefer indian duracells now.

The keyboard however goes a good 6-8 months without a replacement.

I've even used it for playing games like FEAR and FarCry. I don't think avid gamers would like the response but for me, it's ok.

The wireless transmitter is connected to the PS/2 mouse and keyboard ports of your mobo. It has some wire length between the connectors and the unit which you can bundle up and tie with a band. I would've really liked it to be USB driven or at least not have the excess wire of the transmitter unit but I'm ok with the PS/2 thing also.

Personally from my experience, wireless combo sux when it comes to gaming. You are better off with wired ones. I sold the Logitech EX-110 the very next day.

^^^ Dislike my Logitech MX3000

Mouse batteries last about a week and the keys on the keyboard have become hard to press. :(

Well i find a mixed reaction here.. the only thing which made me to go for these is because i cannot take myself seated in front of the Comp for a long time when i am gaming.. i tend to get lot of back pain while doing so.. that is the only reason why i am buying these.

but thanks for the reply guys.. i thought this thread would fade off before getting noticed by anyone.... :)

@deathvirus_me how much does the MX3200 costs ??? i really like the way it looks ;)

So buy a good chair instead of mouse/keyboard :)

Good observation Easy... but the thing is, if you see my rig galllery you will notice my room picture... there isnt enough space available for me to put up a comfrtable chair inbetween my bed and Comp.. so thats ruled out...

the only other thing that i can do is to buy a wireless combo sit back and relaxxxxxxxxxxx !!!! :P

I like the Stuff till now.. it isnt that a bad choice... i need to wait and see what things hold up on this... anyway thanks for all the suggestions... :) I appreciate your concerns :P
