I've recently got BSNL connection with UT300r2u modem, and I havent been able to get portforwarding enabled on it, due to its useless firmware, I tried finding the other firmware with options to setup virtual server/bridge mode etc, but to no avail.
NOTE: Also, I have an unused Linksys wrt54g lying with me, so will be sharing net with another desky from next month onwards..
Now I wanna ditch that modem, I have two options here
1) Buy another "cheap" modem
2) Use a 3 yr old modem that I had with my airtel broadband(model - RB Comtec Xentrix x7005q)
Anybody using BSNL connection on that modem? Wat ya says fellas?
Also, if I've to buy another modem, I prefer not to spend much, the lesser the better, but need a decent product..
