Lots of us have got these earphones from KMD. Let's post our personal reviews in this thread.

As for me, it sounds awesome. Thumping bass is of course missing. But not as bad as the CX 300. And this is without the burn in.

The accessories are very nice. There is a small pouch for you to carry your earphones. IF you have a small player like the shuffle, then that too will fit in the pouch.

Overall, very impressed with the package.
 
CX 500

Upgrade in clarity over the EP630. But lack that much power and the bass in general is a bit weak.
 
Well i didnt get it from KMD but the earphones are good!

I couldn't make out the difference (between cx400 and ep630) on my Sony Ericsson K750i but on my Cowon D2 it just beats the Ep630 hands down!

The fact that the treble is not muddy (for lack of a better word) makes the sound coming out of the D2 more pleasurable to listen to!

I like the bass and unlike the ep630 where the bass is boom boom, on the cx400 its more err flat but that's good (Atleast for me) as the sound is not overtly bass driven and you can clearly differentiate between the lows and highs and the mids!

The only let down for me was that the radioshows I have (128kbps and 192kbps) do not sound as good as the singles which are in 320kbps.

i dont think the bass is weak, but rather tighter and punchier.. and not muddy like the ep 630.

I am getting something similar soon.. then i can post a more first hand point of view.. ;)

Yes, the bass is not weak but it's punchier than Ep-630.Repeating my question from the Sennheiser thread... Would a Fiio amp help in producing better bass??
 
i just recieved the CX400's :)

did all of u get the black color?

Sound is pretty good and i m happy with the BASS .

one problem i faced is that the pouch was stuck on the box with sm tape like stuff , so when i pulled it out , a part of the pouch tore off n got scuffed :(
 
I also got the black one.

The pouch was inside a plastic cover. That plastic cover was stuck with some sort of glue.

Dont worry.You prolly tore off the description in Spanish,Italian and French:ohyeah:
 
I did listen to the CX400 ,i did not get the bass i was looking for :(.Still thinking whether to pick them or not .

Edit: I have dropped the plans of purchasing them.
