I do not want to harm anybody's reputation but just a small irritant.
bought the sata dual dock from mediahome.in.He sent a single dock which he explained as mistake from his side.understood that the best of people do mistakes.He asked me to send it to him at my own cost and told me that he will compensate me for the same.At my own cost i sent him the single dock.it cost me 140 rs to send it to him.I asked him to compensate me adequately whichever way he saw it fit.Now he sends me the dual dock but nothing else.so a small matter of not keeping up the promise.Hell I would have been happy if it was a keychain of 10rs.was not happy.but i did not take up the matter further.just penning my thots here.

^ hey jhonnie1 , the docks were simply sent back by my staff. i know i have to send u something. and i will be sending across flat discount coupons to people in this week or 2 once the coupons stuff works out :) regards

Funtastic service from Lynx-India

Sometime back I participated in a GO and ordered a PL-11 OEM @ Rs.550/- from Lynx. After burning in for almost 50 Hrs, the earphone sound-stage and bass improved tremendously. It was steal for Rs.550.

However, after a month or so of usage, suddenly audio stopped coming from left channel. It puzzled me because I handle my audio gear very carefully and there was nothing unusual like a loose contact with my laptop's audio output.

I had a chat with Amarbir on Yahoo Msgr and on Lynx Support chat. He, at once, agreed to replace the product and asked me to ship the defective one to him.

As promised, I received my RMAed PL-11 yesterday. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that Lynx has sent a brand new retail pack.

Thank you Amarbir and Lynx for setting such a wonderful example in customer service. I appreciate your gesture.

I can understand your enthusiasm
But seriously getting a brand new replacement for IEMs is very normal. Did you really expect a old used one :rofl:

Well Amarbir is really good at providing customer service and a.s.s. I never had any issue with him in any of my deal. I had same thing with my PL30 and he gave me a sweet deal :)

I Use Yahoo And MSN to communicate With suppliers and Live support To communicate With customers .

i ordered corsair vx450 psu from Buygamingstuff (vijay) and he gave me the best priced deal (3600 shipped) as i bought the same psu 3 months earlier from nehru palace delhi for 4150. I must say he is really a very professional dealer along with some of the best pricing deals and very promp service.

he is really a recommended dealer to deal with.

I have only dealt with two dealers: Amarbir and mediahome.in

Amarbir: I have got most of my stuff from him. Only sells genuine good stuff. Because of Punjabi blood he has very little patience (about 4.25 seconds) but it's not that bad. I think he needs a bigger place and more assistants. Prices are usually good. He is actually the only dealer in Chandigarh who sells current stuff. Rest everyone is still selling Nvidia 7300GT card for 4K.

Mediahome: Can't comment now, waiting for my first order to arrive. I ordered 3 blademasters from him a couple of days ago.

That is so true. But the difference is that the vegetable vendors know about their vegetables. These people know nothing about technology.

Does anyone know of any good Computer hardware shop in Chandigarh besides Lynx?

Bought OCZ RAM cooler from ITwares but have to pay for shipping charges twice.

I have transferred the total cost of the product including shipping charges.
He sent the product via his sub ordinates but didn't give him enough money to reach Ghodbandar, Thane. So, I paid for auto fare again & ITwares promised to give me discount on shipping on my next purchase from him.
When I contacted him as I want to buy a 120 mm fan from him & asked for discount he refused to do so saying he has to pay much than he charges for shipping & other costs.

I will not say very rude but impolite when I spoke to him over phone.

This applies only for buyers from Assam.
Track the supply chain of any computer pats you are buying. If you find the prices too high compared to the national rate, most probably it had come through datamation. Ask the dealer to buy the item directly from the national distributer. For example, 9500 gt costs around 3400 Rs, but if the card is bought from datamation, it costs mose than 5000.

Right. Never though the day would come, but this is about KMD going AWOL on us.

And this is not an isolated case, even the last few posts in his own promoted thread are full of people who are crying out for feedback on their orders, replies to messages and general requests.

Would request mods/admins to look into the issue. Surely they have better means at their disposal of contacting him - all we have is the forum. Not trying to witchhunt but if we have paid for orders close to two months ago, surely we deserve some information. The silence is deafening - can't believe that there is only *one* post from the dealer in that thread, and complete blank after that. I really want my money back, this is totally unacceptable.

KMD used to be one of the finest dealers here, I really never thought I would ever need to do something like this.
