Yes, if you don't have Swiggy Black/One, they will group orders, sometimes.
I do have swiggy one. Maybe that's why I haven't seen it before.
Anyway there was something that happened a couple days back
I was delivered the wrong order
WTH do you do in this case. Told the delivery guy it wasn't mine.
Then got on their help system. Waiting for someone to connect. Few minutes later nothing as people are still busy.
Tried to cancel the order in hopes of ordering again only to be told cancellation charge was the full price of the order (!) Ok, won’t cancel then.
Sat waiting for the damn exec to reply and swearing. Bell rang and there was the guy with the right order.
I wanted to strangle him at that point. Just glared at him as he walked out. Finally swiggy gets in touch and exec says laptop wasn't working bla bla. I said compensation. She asked if I got the order. Yes. Thanked me for confirming and immediately disconnected.
No free coupon or discount for the unnecessary aggro. To be fair getting the wrong order rarely happens. But just imagine the confusion had the order been accepted by say a doorman or domestic. You'd be screwed.
Also you can only give feedback about the delivery person in stars only (no text accepted) shortly after the order is delivered and not later like you can about food and whether it was OK.
