Bass is damn good. Volume is very good when connected to TV, Z906, Laptop or PC. Volume is not enough when connected to Nokia N8.

Congrats on the fine camera Sire, mind if I ask damages and how is he picture quality [from your P.O.V] in comparison to the better known Canon, Nikon super-zooms.

I had a Nikon P500 which I had bought from Hong Kong (sadly it got stolen in a house robbery late last year along with my Netbook!) and when I compare this to that these are pro's and con's that quickly come to my mind mate:

Pro's:

1. Much better daylight photography. More crisper images when shots are taken in bright daylight conditions.
2. Superior macro and super-macro modes in the S3300 by a long shot.
3. The viewfinder is much, much better than the P500. I don't know for some reason the P500's the viewfinder was plain bad.

Con's:

1. The P500's zoom is atrociously more compared to this!
2. The auto-focus in P-500 was way faster.
3. Video quality in the P-500 was superior.
4. The P-500 will blow away the S3300 in shots under lower light conditions. (This I will look into more as I fiddle around with the S3300 even further and under manual mode play around with the ISO settings and stuff, I'm still a noob at photography really but trying to learn). :)

If I were to say which camera felt better to hold in-between the S3300 and the P500 (just going by the gripping aspect of the camera's body) I would chose the S3300 in a flash. Loving the new gift! :)
