Really liking this watch. So light, compared to the heavy watches I wore all my life. Sits tight, and is small/just right for 'thin' wrist; coming from the G-Shock stable.

~9.8K, from Amazon.com. It is actually considered a 'small' G-shock. The usual (non rectangular); are much larger. It is the Atomic Sync version - multi 6 band.

But Atomic version is no use in INDIA , bcos , there are no signals over INDIA . Did you have a non atomic version also ?

I know. But I did get an L1/L2 level signal bouncing of the ionosphere from China, when the sync. time came up.....! Else it works fine on manual time. I do not have a non-Atomic version. I got this, cause if I ever move where signals are clear, it should do the job. Just added-tech; for the kicks...! LOL.

Really a nice looking watch. Congrats. Great purchase undoubtedly. My two Casio watches are on their way too and one of those is a G-Shock.

Anilji, good to see another addition to your ever-growing watch collection! :)

@ariendj - impressions from your mother (after a few days of usage) please! Glad that you went with a new device instead of a second hand one you were contemplating on.

^thanks.it was well worth the new purchase.
mom's review on the lumia 720-
  • simple and easy user interface since all the basic apps are present as legible big tiles on main screen(including dailer, contacts, mail, alarm, flashlight, wifi and important contacts)
  • excellent battery backup.
  • very good fit and finish along with looks(loved the cyan color)
  • best camera at this price point(even compared to my nexus 4)

i took the risk as she was jumping from the usual keypad to the touch screen but im amazed how easy its been for someone older and not much aware of the modern tech.

Great...! Hope to see them here soon...! Which ones you ordered..? From where..?

One is Casio Youth Collection Marine watch bought from Koovs for 1745 after 50% off. Recieved it today but didnt like it much. Will either keep it or sell it later.
Another one is a Gshock 100MSD3 series watch bought in US earlier this year from a member at Watchuseek, through a friend. Will be getting it later tomorrow once he'll land back here.

Pics later once the Gshock reaches me.
