I've been getting bored of typing on linear switches for all my keyboards and have been itching to try a good tactile switch!

Enter the Glorious Panda Tactile switches!

Lubed them late last night and swapped them out this morning. Halfway done, out with the Gateron CAP milky yellow switches

All done! First impressions, the switches sound and feel really good post lubing! These are switches with a proper tactile bump, much higher than the regular brown switches.

Now I understand why everyone goes for 65%. Less switches to buy -___-

I'm a tactile convert! I also got a set of gateron browns for my next keyboard :D

gaming will feel very weird with tactile switches. I havent tried with these pandas yet, it felt very weird with box jades before.

Are they alright for office and gaming use both?

Edit: Looking to buy one but currently confused between red switches and aqua switches. My usage will be office work and gaming. Also current switches are outemu black which are heavy linear switches. Help me decide here, much appreciated.

Oh well, gotta make do I guess. At least for me since I don't have multiple keyboards to swap at will lol. Few more weeks and I'll probably get the U4Ts.

Maybe look at a hotswap board? You won't get an aluminium case but at least you can change the switches later if you think you might do that. Aquas are probably similar to browns. From what I saw they have the same actuation force and travel distance, not sure about the difference in bump or how suitable it is for gaming.

I dont have much knowledge on HyperX switches or keyboards, heavy tactile switches like these glorious pandas feel weird when gaming, you definitely cannot do your rapid fire keypresses with these. A mild tactile like regular gateron brown would be more suited.

Then again switch types and especially tactile bumps are all highly subjective, you may not even know what you like until you've tried it. Advices on the internet are not very helpful in this regard

I'd honestly not willing to spend over 5000 on a keyboard. The RK68 for me cost 4900 and the switches were another 3000. This is still cheaper than the hyperX and it is leagues ahead.

Or consider @roofrider 's ajazz, 6500 for keyboard + 2000 for 90x gateron brown switches, under the cost and will give possibly a superior typing feel.

Hey sorry I took so long to respond, missed your question for some reason.
This isn't really that effective to be honest, manual flossing with dental floss is better. However, it does leave the mouth feeling fresh so I'm using this after meals, and also as a way to massage my gums.
Didn't consider the model you posted, it looks to be too large to fit in my bathroom.

You guys seem to know what you are talking about. If I was looking for a mechanical keyboard for gaming, silent enough to not be over herd in an ongoing call , what should I be looking for? Mind you I have a very limited budget in mind.

Anything with cherry MX/ Gateron red switches, they are linear and non-clicky/tactile. There's also cherry mx silent red switches but I personally haven't used those.
HyperX Alloy FPS pro used to be the cheapest mx red keeb for 5k, now the prices have increased.

Which layout are you after? Full size/TLK/75%/65%/60%?
You can save money with smaller more compact keyboards if it's purely for gaming, and still manage to get a hotswap version. Besides reds like suggested, optical switches are better for pure gaming I believe, not that I'd suggest that. Depends on your budget and if you want hotswap or not. RK84 is a great choice if you want 75%. There's GK/SK64 if you want more compact, and RK68 too.
Only issue with 75% keyboards might be finding keycap sets for certain keys, not everyone will change the keycaps though.
@SunnyBoi is your man. I just got my first one recently and everything I know is from reading stuff.

Congrats on the upgrade! I'm kinda curious about what display and types of game you play (if at all) which would warrant an upgrade from a 2080 Ti to a 3080 (Ti) :). Otherwise if it's for workstation purposes then that's a fantastic step-up!
I just have a laptop 3060 which I am completely satisfied with, but then again my target is just 1080p144hz and stereoscopic 1440x1440 90hz (for VR), so I am incredibly happy with it's performance (touchwood).
