Now the road to building my rig is finally opened..the heaviest obstacle has now been cleared...the journey begins now..

Oh, wow! That was you!! I had replied right away to that msg, but I went PM route instead of replying in the group. The extra milliseconds that took me to click that msg and go to PM cost me the opportunity. Later I checked timestamps, he sent the offer msg at 12:44 and I had replied at 12:44 too but you were early by few milliseconds.

Here's my PM to him:

But the story doesn't end here. Later I went to reddit and saw some other guy also got lucky and he shared that he was sending emails to RPtech since beginning and I was like I did that too, but I haven't got any forms. He said try to reach out to them and forward those emails. I did the same, Namrata asked me if my emails had got any official responses from their team. Luckily, I had one email reply from their team acknowledging my spot in the waiting list from way back in November 2020. Got the form, paid, and guess what! I got my GPU delivered today as well. Cheers!!

Haha, those photos are from 2017 and were with a superzoom Samsung point and shoot camera that went to 20mm equivalent on the wide angle (wb2200f).

The story is that after a couple of years with a hackintosh I bought my first Apple computer, a white Macbook, in 2006. I sold it a year later because I was really uncomfortable with the idea of owning a $1000+ computer. I bought a Mac mini and a 12" Powerbook G4 instead in its place. I then sold the Powerbook a few months later to a kid in Russia (!) because I realized I wasn't using it much. It went for a good price, but I wish I didn't.

Then some years ago, I found this 12" Powerbook on Amazon US for a throwaway price and immediately purchased it. This is the one in the photos above.

Perhaps these would be better in the Anti Show-off thread now

Lol man! So both of us are drag racers from the same race and me ended up winning like an F1 race in micro-milli seconds...!
Glad you also got the card via reddit via rptech..so its a win win thing here..just that someone was able to grab the opportunity while you found it the other way around..btw is your 3060 or 3070?

Same as yours 3060 Ti. Found a 2-month old 5600X in the market section here. Now, just looking for the rest of the parts. I replied on your build advice post too. I'm going to beat you in that race. Lol!

You are free to beat I'm in no hurry as I want everything customizable so only when I have the architecture ready will nail it down! Need to gather some vitamin M too.
Again that 5600x I would had taken in no time and beat you but I have someone selling it for 19k locally but not yet interested in Ryzen as of now unlike earlier..Exploring more into stable builds and inclining more to Intel..
GPU was my prime focus as combos can be bought anyday.
Now further its no race for me but just move with the flow.. the ultimate race is already won! And I was and yet I'm keen on 3070 so will see if it accidentally strucks me or how..

I plan to play some games on this using a hub to connect a KB + mouse. Any good FPS or open world games similar to COD , GTA.

Or is it better to get a XBOX gamepass?
