please give links where you got this
Probably we can contribute and take the kit off your hands, and let it rotate between contributing members so we can see which key works and which doesn't work for that individual. Rather than getting a set of sample switches for each one of us. The power of many working for eachother.
This is a really good idea, but it's likely most people would end up confused just like I did. A far better approach would've been to just get the three different switches (brown, red, blue) by Huano (they're Rs 12 each) to accurately feel the difference of the main switch types. And then from there expand into a few different variations (brands, actuation force) of the kind you prefer. There's just no reason for this much variety (some of them are the same switch in a different body) unless if you're an experienced switch connoisseur like @SunnyBoi
You should try out Kailh Box Clicky switches, White Pink and Jades. I have the Whites and Jades, they're really a class above the usual cherry/gateron offerings when it comes to clicky switches!
Thanks! I've ordered a sample of all three from stackskb.
Once I have a switch figured out, I'll decide on a keyboard. I've been typing conscientiously the last few weeks and I realized the last time I used right control was probably for Road Rash back in the 90s. So a more compact tenkeyless design with a seperate arrow key cluster would be ideal. I like the GMMK Pro but I have no use of the function keys, so maybe something like the Gamakay LK67.
Do you know of any other diy keyboards like the Gamakay?
