The "Everyday" show-off thread !

...

how about non tech item like fans, can we program/control fans and AC in this as well ?
+ where you got it and damage, if not from amzn india.
If you don't find the item listed in their database, worst case you can use the learning remote function and add your devices.
Got it hand carried from US. Costs around 50USD on Amazon.com .

Can it control both tv and stb?
Yes, absolutely.

In my case Sony Bravia remote can handle STB, Soundbar as well [HDMI connection]. But the original Sony remote went bad and the aftermarket replacement remote has hard buttons making it difficult to navigate Smart TV content. On Sofabaton we can add up to 10 devices I guess. Using learning remote function I was able to program my DIY Amp remote keys on it now making it a true single remote in living room [will shortly be adding AC remote keys].

Thats cool!
But seems available for a bomb cost in India 9.5k - 13k. Obviously not worthy for a mere remote..
You might have bought it from abroad it seems..

Designed some mouse stands & got them 3D printed. Finishing is not perfect but loved the final product.
Any design inputs are appreciated.

Last pic is how the setup looks rn. :)

Amazing. In India or abroad? What others had you shortlisted.

Edit: yeah doesn't look like india
USA, i went into the rabbit hole of espresso on youtube and figured out that I wanted a machine with pid and pressure gauge and a bottomless portafilter.
Others I thought about were
1. Quick mill pippa
2. Rancilio Silvia Pro (Ms.Silvia)
3. ECM Casa V
4. Lelit Mara X

Finalized Lelit because they were all stainless steel and built in italy. Felt that my espresso game is not that good enough for Mara X. For now I mostly wanna learn making better cappuccinos.

Sweet. It's one of the few reasonably priced (for espresso machines) in India. Though people discourage buying it because of the 57mm Porta filter.

I was about to buy an open box Anita (Anna with a Grinder) but it got snapped up before I could make a transfer.

Looking forward to some pics/vids of shots that you pull with this.

What grinder do you have?

I just have a cheap Amazon manual grinder with stainless steel conical burrs. I am definitely not spending obscene amounts of money on a grinder unless some can scientifically explain how they justify their price over my 50 dollar manual grinder.

I just ordered bottomless along with the machine. Its very good build quality. Probably will last the lifetime of the machine.

Hold up... you went down the Youtube Espresso Rabbit hole and are questioning the need for a good grinder?

How long does it take to grind 15-18gms with your current grinder?
