Casually putting in a prophecy for the ages for a company that almost went bankrupt 15 years ago. What are the odds you're giving for this always bet?
Yes, you are correct the leadership is not guaranteed forever, but given apple's track record and their unique positioning in the market, I am certain they are sorted for at least our lifetime and likely a few decades beyond that.

The weak point of apple is they don't make their own chips, they rely on ARM for the core design IP and TSMC for manufacturing, whereas samsung I think has their chip design and manufacturing in house, despite that they aren't the leader.

Which tells that apple's focus on optimization and strategic partnerships seems to be the winning formula for now, but for how long? I say at least few decades.

Downgrading from always to decades is a good start... However even decades is too long to predict with any certainty... By 2050 whether the us will even have the highest gdp or not is not guaranteed and given their trajectory highly unlikely it will no longer be the top dog or at the very least not the only top dog... Let alone a company nobody can predict what happens to a country in decades... For example, nobody predicted world wars before they happened

First impressions
Really liked the joystick and keys.
Feedback is strong.
Connection to Windows PC using dongle was very easy.

The left top exhaust fan will directly exhaust the air from the rear intake fan before the air reaches the CPU cooler. It would be better to remove it and just keep the right top fan.
I found CPU to be 2-3C cooler than just 1 exhaust, not sure what is the reason so i kept it. Rear intake is around 300 rpm faster than top fan also.

The amount of dust that is gonna accumulate will be staggering and will be a nightmare to clean. Keep it covered when not in use. Slow the fans to delay dust build up, you have so many, and avoid overclocking so fans don't go brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!

I guess I can look forward to the same fate with my new rig with its Lian Li o11 dynamic rgb case and 10 fans :pespecially the rear isn't a fine mesh has larger holes just inviting dust build up. At least the front and side glass makes it easy to see when it gets bad so I can get it cleaned.

I am surprised that there is not a single case that solves this problem of dust build up, I think it shouldn't be that hard, looking at how the air filters work in automotives, the air is sucked through a filter using a vacuum created inside the engine.

Well we can't create a vacuum inside a PC case, but we can create a positive pressure, so all the air that is entering the PC should be through one place with a filter on top. For this to happen the pc case should be sealed properly (no small holes exposed), it must have only two vents, one for intake and one for exhaust. To create the positive pressure the intake fan should run at higher speed and the exhaust fan should be running a slower speed.

Now it's guaranteed that all the air that comes in will be cleaned of dust particles. Since the filter is placed outside, it will be easy to clean or swap as well.

What about the PSU fan intake?
I think the PSU should have it's dedicated area in the case, decoupled from the rest of the system. No need to filter the PSU air intake, even if it's dirty the rest of the system will stay clean.

How hard can this be. *sigh*
 
Oh yeah forgot about the PSU... yes it is kind of segregated from the rest of the parts in my case.

My current/old CM694 seems to not let the innards get too bad - was surprised to see it pretty clean when I got it serviced after a gap of a year...

all my intake fans, (rear + bottom)(3 total) have dust filters on the outside of the case. Top 2 fans are 300 rpm lower than intakes. front panel has dust filter but it's on inside used by psu fan. been running for about 2 weeks in Bangalore, i dont see too much dust

Finally bought some connectors etc to make PWM splitters. Thanks for giving me the motivation to get off my behind and actually fix these fans

I made 2 x 3 fan splitters for my 6 fans. chose ML120 elite for the case

Then I realised my A520 mobo only has 1 chassis fan header. Sigh.

I didnt want to modify these as I can reuse them with my other case with ML 120 pro fans. So I made another 6 fan splitter

Finally, all fans work
