The "Everyday" show-off thread !

Did the power adaptor type cable came with it? And did you get 5 years or 3 years warranty?
It’s supposed to have 3 years of standard warranty + 2 years extended upon registration. The pcie to 12vhpwr adapter along with a GPU support was included in the box.

Well I found my treasure

Having a big cabinet is not a key to cable management.

I realized today, had 9 argb fans, and managing their cables was the toughest part of the build
Using cablemods made it even harder

But somehow the final look is superb !

Looks great. Pour us with more details.
Thanks man, its running i5-8400 with a Gigabyte motherboard which has 6 Sata ports. Since it is a 4 slotted ram motheboard, the bottom HDD does come in the way so, have to skipped the bottom HDD mount for now. I will try to buy used 2 ram slotted motherboard in the future. The 24-pin power also comes in the way, so you have to take that last HDD off too, so 2x HDD in that slot and 3x hdd in the other slot.

I am running Truneas and just tinkering.
It comes with 2x 80mm but only a Molex connector, which is loud at full speed, let me try and hear it tonight after parents are asleep.
I am trying to order 5.2 inch to 3.5 inch caddy from amazon and used it on the 5.2 inch tray.

Currently, I am mounting it on the 12U open frame, which I have listed for sale here.
Looks pretty neat!

Happy see another homelaber in TE. How many 3.5” can you accommodate and how much does it cost.

So, the two 3.5hdd bay can hold 4x HDD each. Then you see 1 WD gold at the top, and the bottom is 2x 5.2inch bay, If you convert that, Total is 4+4+3 HDDs.
Got it for 9.5K from Avza Tech (India Mart) and it seems like a generic chassis from china

New router day.

Ordered a N100 + Quad intel i226v mini pc from alibaba, barebones, cost was 12k including shipping, + 2.5k import duty. Shipping took 3 days (DHL express) from Hong Kong. This is replacing my N5100 pfsense router that also had i226v nics, but has died suddenly. Specifically chose this variant as this uses DDR4 SODIMM. Has one m.2 nvme + sata slot, as well as a SATA connector (but requires a proprietary 4 pin to sata power connector which they did not provide).

Out of the box runs a little too hot for my liking, thinking about adding a fan somewhere.

Nice and minimalistic. Are those desktop clamps sturdy enough especially to support those speakers at an angle ? Also link to those clamps, please ?
These are really good with 15 kg capacity, rubber base doesn't let the speakers slip.

Please share more details like what brand and where to buy etc... looking for something similar.
