Been a long wait for this one. My second biggest this year infact, besides Inception.
What we know so far
- gf106 40nm
- 192 cuda cores (48 core clusters x 4)
- 783/1566/900 core/shader/memory
- 128 bit bus
- 1GB DDR5
- ~106W TDP (so a single 6pin connector)
- Official release is on the 13th
What is unexpected, is the price point, which seems to be a bit lower than expected. According to Hexus
Palit seems to have already made a low profile version of the card which is priced at an even lower 136$ price point, its missing SLI though.

Besides the price cuts on the HD5770, the other thing I'll enjoy is watching all those selling overpriced GTX260s and 5770s get really owned now.
If Zotac manages to bring in the cards soon enough, I'll be getting a couple of these.

The press release gave the ASUS card a MSRP or $150 or €150. This works out to around £115 (including VAT)
