But I am still planning on getting an ECS GTX450 or the Inno3D if the prices are right.

nVidia all the way, I have used nVidia cards and found them to be more better, please don't ask for exact stasitics, this comes from a GeForce4 MX 440 -> ATI 9600 -> Palit 7600 GT -> inno3D 8800 GT -> XFX HD 5770

It will surely come below 8k ...GTS 250 was all old stock imported at higher prices
AM guessing Zotac GTS 450 will be 7.2~7.5k a month after launch

Zotac GTX 460 1GB DDR5 which is 229$ launched at 14k ...now is 12.5k or lower

and later a GTX 455 (also in news) can be introduced to compete with the HD 5770..

Sapphire may do it. But then it has an indian warranty for 3 yrs. But US warranty is just 2 yrs. Plus Sapphire is ATI exclusive and irrelevant in this case.

yes, it will run..

did anyone notice that some of the contact pads on the PCI-e connector of the GTS 450 are missing..

it still manages to run on x16

Yea the lower end one are coming out first but i think pricing will be higher so they might have to drop 5000 series cards prices.
