Hatred stems from ignorance.
Ignorance can be rid by educating ourselves and our near and dear ones.
You talk about UK and USA, where do you think India stands? Here inter-state clashes are pretty common. Rather than unify the country, people still believe in "divide and conquer".

Right, i did not get time to look at this earlier. But the areas these ppl visted look like lower middle to working class tough areas. You go in there not white you're gonna get abused. You dress up the way they have after 2005 and its gonna be worse. Bristol's a pretty tough place for your avg caucasian let alone immigrants. Economy there's been in the toilet ever since the empire collapsed. A local would not get racially abused but it might not be too surprising if they'd get robbed by those very brats. So we have white guy mugged in a poor area cause he looks like he's too rich. A case of robbery and nothing more newsworthy.
If thats where you have to live, life will be bad regardless of what you look like. But there are plenty of other areas where it isn't. And so i find this vid tries to say too much with very little. A few tough areas in Bristol alone does not equal all of the UK
Racism isn't a disease, it is a response that we as people learn from our parents and our peers. It is always the most ignorant of individuals that perpetuate this problem and it is up to us to help teach our children that racism of every kind is wrong.
I grew in the UK and I live in the US and I can tell you that racism is everywhere and a part of all cultures and ethnicities, because where the ignorant flourish..... so does racism.

They went to a cpl of council estates. Thats govt housing for those that can't afford one. Not the best most open-minded of places to be in. Did you notice how the shops were completely shuttered in one of the clips, that tells you crime is an issue in this area.
Also notice how the woman gets the most abuse. She's the most vulnerable and easier target. Its quite amusing how she googles them up and finds stuff on them. To be fair they do mention surprise at being treated that way having grown up elsewhere under different circumstances.

Well all I can say is please take a look at the discrimination in your very city, state and country before pointing fingers. I am quiet appalled to see the kind of service given to "whites" as compared to Indians in our very own country. Look around and you will find it in every single coffee shop, restaurant, club and hotel.
I see ads in the paper for homes on rent to only Hindu's. I went to see an apartment on sale, where I was not welcome because I am a Hindu. Anyway u look at it, its here, right outside your house and you ignore it as normal.
I am not trying to discriminate against any religion, these are just a few experiences.

All I can say is, we really need not go that far to US and UK and then condemn racism. It happens right here, in this very country, in this very city. Have seen it and experienced it as a victim quite a few number of times, even when I was a boy in Class 5th, and even when I am a 28 year old grown up.
