You talk about UK and USA, where do you think India stands? Here inter-state clashes are pretty common. Rather than unify the country, people still believe in "divide and conquer".

I see ads in the paper for homes on rent to only Hindu's. I went to see an apartment on sale, where I was not welcome because I am a Hindu. Anyway u look at it, its here, right outside your house and you ignore it as normal.
I am not trying to discriminate against any religion, these are just a few experiences.
