This would be a good indication for peeps who still havent tried the game which others might have played/still playing. I noticed Sandy & Chaos are playing Dreamfall and according to thier posts its a good game. I had almost skipped that game but now i will give it a try. This thread will somehwat serve as a mini review thread from our very own members...

As for me i am playing two games as of now...

Condemmed Criminal Origins & Tomb raider : Legends...

Condemmed is a really good game... Slow paced but good...Great story... horror/thriller types... Recommened...Horror fans should definately try the game... Also did i mention... Great Graphics...

TR Legends on the other hand is a crappy game... The puzzels are stupid... The camera angles suck... The gfx are... Well... Not upto the standards... According to me one can skip the game...
 
^^ switch did you turn on next gen effects on TR Legends? we tried it out at chaos place it looksed really awesome :hap2: and you have a XT so shouldnt be a problem ;)

Mesa playing/finished DreamFall & Hitman Blood money

Dreamfall absolutely must play awesome dialogues and good gfx.. characters sound soo real and indepth you remmeber them even after you finish the game the puzzles in the game were very well thought of ;)

Hitman good gfx and game play has been improved over the previous serious. good sound tracks very stupid AI, get it if you can. its one of thoseplay and forget games :p
 
Finished Dreamfall the other day with my bro... Its just brilliant as Sandy said... the best story I've ever encountered in any game, the voice acting pwns any other game ever released, looks pretty nice(not great though), well thought out non gimmicky puzzles and an awesome background score. The song in the last chapter is especially haunting.

Edit: Forgot to mention... Appeals to the fairer sex as well unlike most games :p.

there are only 2 alternative to playing a game

the first and the most obvious one is buying :p
and the 2nd one i doubt can be told publicly :tongue:

after playing CSS i kinda got bored of all these SP games where u gotta frag some dumb bots solve lil puzzle here and there (except NFS series)
now playing NFS:MW started playin tht game yesterday (cause someone here was refraining from giving me a copy of it) :mad: till now..

the only plus point/interesting point i saw in Tomb raider legend was the gfx the puzzles are way stupid.... finished the game, the last stage is the most boring stage of all time.. >.< in the whole game i only enjoyed croft manor :lol:
 
Me (re)playing hl2 with the hi-res texture pack. No description needed for hl2........

Finished KingKong and Stubbs the zombie.

King Kong was great, one of the very few movie-to-game titles which i enjoyed.

Stubbs was Zombie is a must play imho cause it's not like every game out there let's you play a brain-dead zombie ;)

Finished both of them and are highly recommended.

Me playing THE MOVIES....Its a good game...But as the game progresses u have take care of a lot of small things(like fixing broken buildings...just hiring men won't do..u have to make them do all the stuff :S)...which sometimes gets frustrating....

Also replaying GTA: SA....Had almost forgotten about the game....Well what can I say abt SA...Its part of the GTA series...U just can't get enough of them....

Makes it up with its roster. Resident Evil, The X-men and the Rest of Marvel, and Street Fighters all in one 2d fighting game? It'll never grow old on me.
 
AoE2. Have completed the scenarios like 20-30 times.

Addiction?? :eek:hyeah:

P.S I wonder if the reason might be that I still play on a Celeron 566 with 256 mb ram :S
