1. It is a candybar touchscreen phone. Not a slider
2. It does NOT have a 3.5mm slot for headphones. Uses a single port for USB, charging and headphone connections.

Guys please pour your brain on which mobile would fit these necessities?

1.Its got to be a Flip or Slide?

2.Its got to have a commendable battery life?

3.Its more than enough to have a 2MP cam and a Vid Recorder?

4.Its immaterial if it has 3G or not?

5.Its utmost important that it should have a reasonably easy-to-msg keypad?

6.Its helpful if the phone has a rich display and even richer music abilities?

7.Its got to be a SE or Nokia?

8.Its shouldnt cost more than 12k?

these are my humble requirements my friends please suggest me something that fits this profile

SE W595 or Nokia 6500 Slide or Nokia 5610XM

^^Will definetly look into the phones mate. as far as ur P.S goes all my Question/Statements are of apprehensive type so they needed a Qmark. Anyway once again thanks for the suggestions.

Also any idea when the W508 would be available?

P.S any flip in that category?

3G isn't a must have, atleast not right now.

You should have been able to obtain answers for the above two questions after all that searching. ;)

Anyways, as mentioned above :

It is a Touchscreen "candybar" phone.

It does not have a dedicated 3.5mm audio jack.

Price : 11.4K + 4% VAT

Nokia N97 ~ 30.6K + 4% VAT

It's a great device with the exception of a slightly premature "Touch" user interface.
Most bugs & issues have been addressed with the latest firmware update.

Apart from slight visual changes and of course WIDGET support, nothing much has changed.

Faster UI response, thanks to better specs.

If you've used a Symbian phone before, you shouldn't have any trouble with S60 5th Edition(Touch).

I suggest you get hold of someone's N97 and give it a spin !

Like it? Then go ahead and take the bite.
