The comments seems otherwise and looks like fanboism :| The other SE model is pretty niche for my needs. Since I will not be changing the phone for a long time I wanted somethig that can last a bit long . So I should really ditch F305 ? The reviews arent that bad :huh:

SE F305

Pros :

Plenty of games (few motion sensitive ones)

Funky design

Good keypad

Decent battery life

Decent sound quality

Bluetooth A2DP support

Cons :

Basic UI

Average display

Average camera

Poor browser

No data cable

Speakers on the back

If you can live with that, this should be a decent buy for 6K.

FYI, The W995 ain't all that bad, atleast as a Walkman device.

Are you serious?
Touchscreen phones from these manufacturers have abysmal battery life and their long term reliability is quite uncertain.

Safe to choose a simple,dual-sim handset with good battery life from these manufacturers OR decent ones from Samsung.

You really have to check out those devices in person, as not much info is available online.

I have K750i, as primary phone, working perfectly :)

Looking for Dual Sim- 2ndary phone- (Both sim for GSM) mobile phone with following features. Budget 2.5-3.5k max, so Nokia, SE, Samsung, LG etc. out of question.

The mobile phone features I expect:

1) SMS

2) FM (wireless i.e. No Hands free requires)

3) MP3 player

4) GPRS

5) Connectivity with Computer

6) Torch light

7) 2GB card

8) Bluetooth

9) Game

10) Both Sim should support 900/1800/1900 GSM. Both sim remain activated simultaneously. While using one sim, if someone call on other Sim (number) he should get Busy Tone.

11) Good Battery Backup (Talk-time & Standby)

PS: Suggest other than LAVA brand.

Since I could get any phone from the states, so the price wouldn't be an issue.

Basically I'm willing to take anything upto 400$ new or used condition.

Hey guys pls help me out. Clueless about cell phones & the gazillion models. Budget <6k strict.
Camera 2mp or even 1.3mp.
Must usb/bluetooth/music/video/expandable mem.
Overall the phone UI should be fast with good app support. I had a SE K750i which was good. No Nokia pls.

How r moto rocker e8, razr v8 & l9 or l6 don remem.
Also please suggest any 3G phone around this budget, if any.

Just bought a BNIB SE R306 for 2.3K as a birthday gift, possibly the cheapest new camera equipped flip phone around. Good choice for anyone looking for a basic model with a cam & BT.

I have just had a bad experience with my earlier Nokia phones, so i had moved to SE. Now that SE phones are quite troublesome, i am thinking of moving back to Nokia. This is one fine phone... surely gonna buy this :)

I think nokia 6303 fits all ur requirements or atleast most of ur requirements at that price. will cost around 6.5k

There lies the problem. I'm not sure about the prices in the US, varies on the mode of purchase: contract, unlocked , Boxed retail

In such cases I ask them to find out what's available in their price range and then help them decide among the choices.

In contrast, the Jet and the N86 come fully loaded and look to deliver with their feature set and performance.

Sense & Simplicity Vs. Down and dirty! :p

If you do consider Nokia , there's the Nokia 5130 XM (5.2K*) !

L6 ~ Basic and outdated comparatively !

Only the mid-high end Moto handsets have a good OS.
