Hi guys,

Please help me out because i am really confused.

I have a budget of 20,000 max/- i was looking for google nexus s but unfortunately it's out of stock in flip kart and letsbuy from last 15 days.

I did write a mail to flip kart and letsbuy but no info on when nexus s would be back in stock.

Coming from a SE phone sound quality is of real importance to me. I have a Brainwavz m2 earphones and i am looking for something with really good sound quality .

I am ready to rom my nexus s with voodoo sound custom rom and i am really dying to try out the true vanilla andriod experience , being a techie and all :)

but nexus s is out of stock and where i can find it prices are really insane something like 26,000 . 20,000 is the max i can shell out.

I read some where that nexus s is discontinued , do you guys have any info regarding availability of nexus s and, how is the samsung galaxy s.

I really really really want a nexus s but my patience is been tested. :'(

I am looking for nexus s from last 15 days. But if nexus s wont be in stock for a long - long time then please suggest me some options.

Real good sound quality , android experience :)

E6 is a very good device. Also check HTC ChaCha.

Dark angel the ebay listing for google nexus s is it safe to buy from ?

and in case of any issues where shall i go to claim the warranty ? I live in bombay ... so samsung service center will do right ?

and the service center do ask for the bill of the mobile phone ? so in that case the bill provided to me by ebay shall do ?.

And the sound quality of galaxy s and nexus s is almost same right ? i will apply custom rom ' voodoo ' to nexus s

i have no idea about the ebay thing but in terms of audio quality, Nexus S is definitely among the best. Has got damn neutral audio signature. So, you can tweak it anyway you want.

^Dual SIM android phones are rare and none of the major brands make them. I would say get a decent android phone for ~9k and a basic phone for ~1k.

A LG O1 P500 ~ 9k (letsbuy after using discount coupon RCOMLB1) and a low end Samsung Guru series ~ 1k would suit you fine IMO.

got my nexus s finally ! God it's gorgeous. Love it

But damn i am confused coming from a sony SE 3 year old phone it feels like i am using a new computer for the first time. :-D

Every thing's so different ,so different from all the mobile OS out there.

Hi guys,

Looking for a very basic phone with flashlight ( must ) for dad. Have nokia 1280 in mind. I already have nokia 1202 but its funny since the speakers are more clear when turned backwards ! any other suggestions ? budget up to 2k

Nexus S versus Galaxy SL. Which one should it be? I just saw a killer deal on the SL for 16.9k on ebay. I look for modding+very good batt backup. I already own an o1. Also, where can I get the nexus for a cheaper price? Its been permanently pulled from flipkart, out of stock in letsbuy and 21k in ebay! :|

Regardless of modding Galaxy SL does not have great hardware to play around with. While Nexus S has excellent hardware and with overclocking it gives you better performance. So it is a no brainer to get Nexus S instead of Galaxy SL. Just a few weeks back, Nexus S brand new one was selling in Ebay for 18.5k. But it seems to not exist anymore. So you can be on a lookout.

Else why not try Galaxy S. That one you can get around the 17.5-18.9k price. It has same hardware so whatever update comes to Nexus is easily ported to Galaxy S plus Super Amoled screen which is not present in Nexus. I have a Captivate (Galaxy S) and currently running 2.3.4, thanks to CM7. Excellent audio quality. I have overclocked mine to 1.4 ghz (upto 1.6 ghz stable) and with GPU tweaks, the games are played so beautifully.

Basically, Need advice on Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini Pro SK17i Or Motorola Defy? Please let me know which one is better or if there are any others which suit this bill. I can stretch a little bit, No HTC Desire S, it costs > 20K. Too much for a mobile :(

Anything <19K would be still fine!

Also, Is it worth waiting for a few more months? iPhone5 release might reduce the rates of other phones?
