hey man, i was thinking of getting the e63 for myself actually.. :P anyways wat i did forget to mention was that dad wants a phone tats small and more batt life.. (no need of wifi/cam etc.. ) and hence when i enquired today i realised these kinda phones only come in the low end range and look fugly..

to cut short: any idea of a premium looking no frills small size candybar nokia.

The Nokia E63 isn't small but its definitely sleek & sports a premium look...
Battery life is good too ! Seems ideal...

And you are right, phones that match the specified criteria are low-end and definitely miss out on premium looks...

As far as a candybar phone with premium looks go,there's only the : Nokia N78 & Nokia E51...

I need to buy a cell phone under Rs.15K~200 £ from UK. I'll be using it for entertainment purposes. I had Nokia ExpressMusic 5800 and E71(UNLOCKED) in my mind.

I'm not sure about the prices in UK though what do you suggest?

Both the Nokia 5800 XM & Nokia E71 (not quite entertainment oriented) are priced at 19K & 19.6K respectively.

Similarly priced in the UK as well...

Suitable options for around 15K:

SE G705

Moto ZN5

Nokia N81 8GB

SE W705

Nokia N78

Need a under 15k smartphone with wifi Toxic..help out please :)

saw a couple of models but something or the other seems to be missing so posted right here.

Usage- Doc Viewer/Wifi/decent cam for those usual clicks dont need memory or a good music player etc etc

Brand no Bar!

P.S- E51 is old now!

The best option is the Nokia E63(Its camera isnt too good though).

If you want a good camera, search for the Nokia N78. It had a pretty decent camera. The only problem is that its production has been discontinued(Though I have'nt understood the reason why Nokia suddenly decided to discontinue it. It was a great Value For Money mobile. Even better than the E63 or E51).

The Moto ZN5 (15.5K*) or the Nokia N78 (13-15K*) should do the job !



You could consider the Nokia E63 (12.2K*) if you want a business oriented handset...

My dad had purchased 5130 XM , poor battery life , bad camera . Sold it off in a week , stay away from it

Moto ZN200 ~ 5.8K*

Nokia 5130 XM ~ 5.7K*

SE W350i ~ 5.5K*

Moto EM325 ~ 4.8K*

Samsung J150 ~ 4.4K*

As far as cameras are concerned, there aren't any decent ones at this price range.

Only the first two I've mentioned actually have a 2MP camera as opposed to a 1.3MP cam on the others...

POOR battery life?

Guess,that was just the initial impression because battery life improves after a few recharge cycles.Also there have been no such complaints from other 5130 users.

You could have gotten your phone checked by Nokia...

Bad Camera ?

Well,one shouldn't really expect a decent camera in an entry level phone especially when it is a music oriented handset.

I want to buy good sound but rather less costly mobile as i just use for talking ( i require hands free speaker) budget 1k-2K max.

I saw in Business standard source {http://www.business-standard.com/india/news/west-bengal-units-offer-rs-1000-phone/335099/} that companies are offering Rs. 500-1000 colour screen mobiles.

I checked their website and they looks good but havent found any dealer in Hyderabad. Any body has any idea of these or this type( Indian Made) of Mobiles which are good in quality. I dont bother abt Brand at all only quality and reliability matters for me.

Hi!

I want a phone with the following:

1. Loads 'o Customization options (ie. large community support for softwares and games which i can get easily)
2. Decent Camera
3. Decent Music
4. Wifi and GPS (Good if they are available although chances are low)

Budget: 10K, Max 11K
