I had read about these in various forums. Haven't these issues been fixed yet by a newer firmware version?
I was considering this because it looks much better than the 6085 although it lacked the card slot. But I don't want to buy problems, even cute ones.:D

well..
Nokia doesn really bother releasing new firmware versions for entry level models..
upto my knowledge ;)
so don't bother..

How does the Samsung E250 measure up against the Nokia 6085 in ease of use, call voice quality, battery stamina, phone book size and convenience? It certainly is much cuter in my opinion.

Ok guyzz here goes ... recently cmpny banned usage of camera phones in office ... own a n72 .. gotta change ... please help... requirements follow:
1.No Camera ... (no means no)
2. Budget: 14k
3. Good connectivity: 3g, bluetooth, edge, wifi capable of handling web based /java apps.
4. Music
5. Video playback
6. Mem slot
7. Touch screen
8. All the other goodies like FM, MMS etc.

It is a pda without a cam. But I do not want the big flat/fat ones like E62, Blackberry models etc.

I did research myself and found SE W950i to be perfect:
Sony Ericsson - Mobile phones - Overview - W950i

But it seems it is not available now. The other one that I liked is:
Sony Ericsson - Mobile phones - Overview - M600i
But it is out of my budget.

As you can see though I have not listed it in my requirements, looks do matter a bit, I want it to be a bit sleek and slim.

Please help. Thanks in advance.

Plz Suggest a phone within a range of 10 -11k

Looking for :

Decent Cam

Excellent Sound Quality with MP3 n FM Radio

Some other gud bundled features .

Plz mention few 4-5 models tol make my mind to get the best for myself :)

Want a cell phone with,

1. Good sms typing facility.
2. Unlimited SMS storage space.
3. Support for loud and good ringtones.

Budget, as cheap as possible.

Unfortunately,every good model worth recommending for the above features and budget ,HAS a camera.so you could consider a camera..

else there's the good old Nokia E62(9.4K) without cam & wifi or if possible try looking for the 'Camera-free' version of the Nokia E51( maybe around 10k)..

Just curious what do you work as? And is the phone used for official calls?

I work for HSBC ... analytics not the bank. ... some crap corporate rule man, i guess i have access to quite a lot of sensitive info, but i then many services company employees have similar data at hand as well ...

plannin to buy a phone with a good cam and music playback.

i wanted to buy SE W580i (loved the looks of the phone). unfortunately the phone doesnt have flash and auto focus. can you please tell me abt any other phones in that range. i want to buy either a nokia or SE (preferably a slider phone however not necessary).

well you have 3 options..

1.SE W810i ~ 9k - smaller screen,Walkman,2mp/Flash/AF,decent battery

2.SE K790i ~ 10k - 3.2mp/Flash/AF,decent battery

3.Samsung D900i ~ 10k - Slider,3.2mp/Flash/AF,average battery

Check 'em out in person and decide..

I am looking for a phone for my sister. The budget is 10K but can be exceeded a bit if required. The Phone should be good looking with good camera and good sound. Any suggestions?
