WTH?! I distinctly remember that this feature was present in NFS 3 also..
 
well Porsche unleashed was very good. gave an exotic feel, really good game. i dont think it will be like taht .

though hot persuit on the PS3 was not that great i enjoyed it a lot. i hope it improves upon it .
 
Just saw it today in xbox market place.... its a 1.5GB download...

BTW: I am also away from home...but have got my xbox and PC along with me to melbourne:):)
 
OH MAN this could finally be a NFS worth playing after sooooo long , made by the Burnout Paradise team im expecting big things :D
 
Downloaded the Demo...

I can play as both Cop and a Racer:)...

Both Day and nigh env are present in the demo.... The car handling looks off now but visuals are great

How did you enable day environment? I got the option to only play as a Cop. May be it's the level which is locked to a partner invite over XBL, is it?
 
nopes...there are 2 stages u can play....

when u play cop, u get the night env with 2 cars.

Press down on the map and u can see the second stage; that's the day stage and u get to play as a racer:)

It was locked for me as it required me to have a friend in my XBL list who had played the demo.
 
IMHO, I was disappointed by the demo. But again, Criterion always screws demos. Take Burnout Paradise as a example.

Hope this game will re-glow to lost glory of NFS series and will stand as a successful replacement to NFS:MW.

I hate Burnout Paradise. It ditched the entire concept of what Takedown and Revenge had accomplished and went on to adopt free roam, which didn't go down too well with me. I hope this would be much better iteration.
