1) budget

2) low cost nikon body means i need a AF-S lens

i'd be open with regards to budget... nothing specific in mind

your picture, generally i'm not a fan of B & W conversion so can i peak at the original please?

the tones in my first pic were done on lightroom, i more or less followed this guide.

Nikon AF-SVR 70-200 f2.8 lens are very expensive, the AF 80-200 f2.8 is for 57k while the Af-S 70-200 is for 1.17 lakhs. However you also have an option in Tamron, I believe for 40-41k. I am not certain if the Nikon teleconverters will work with third party lenses (theoretically it should). A nikon one:

There are cheaper tele-converters are also available in Fort. Maybe Brendon can shed some more light on this.

If you are looking for large telephoto but don't want to invest huge amount then go for Sigma 150-500 lens. A very good lens for price(approx. 45k) and some guys are selling their lens for 38k on jjm.

I would recommend dedicated lens over tele-converters for guys on budget.

Was in the Nehru Planetarium yesterday. Gave 200MM some exercise. But boy, I so badly wish for a nice, sharp 300MM. Dunno when I will be able to buy one because before the telephoto I need 35mm/1.8.
