I think i needed to have atleast an outline of the moon, but it was wayyy too bright for that

Still like how this shot turned out though

Wow SUPER 'Super Moon' shots Everyone.

@pappu To capture outline, i think you have to click at higher shutter speed and light the foreground by flash else merge 2 pics.

Yup, mine shot was also handheld...as I don't have a tripod...need to get one soon

Actually the moon emits a good amount of light. Tried on Brendon's 70-200 f2.8 last night and was getting shutter speeds of 1/125 and 1/200 so no real need of tripod. But a tripod shot at f22 would be beautiful too..
