The Photography Thread !

Had gone to CST(VT /Fort) to give a friends lens for repair and buy myself a reverse ring adapter for the 50mm prime etc. Took this snaps while returning . Not really happy with the composition / framing :( A few tips and suggestions will be appreciated.

Well I see too many elements in the photo which means my eye doesnt know where exactly to focus on.

If you had gone a bit closer to the handcart vendor in the first photo it would have avoided all the distracting people around.

Second photo is ok. Not too bad.

Third photo has a sign post in the frame ! IMO it should have been avoided.

Fourth photo is also very distracting but I dont think that the shot could have been improved much.

Fifth photo IMO should have had more of the buildings and less of the sky. Because the buildings are cropped the photo looks a bit incomplete.

Last photo is nice but the shadows are a bit too dark for my liking.

Pranav, Anshul: Thanks, yep I know the distracting portion. Somehow the shadows got underexposed as I was trying to capture a dark frame..

A noobie attempt with my 550D. Please comment & criticize..!

good :)

The horsie in front might have been placed at a different angle, and reduce the vignette please

Another thing you can try is increasing the distance between them, and placing the camera closer and lower down , giving the one in front a taller look. I dont know how to explain this one.

Let me use my favorite giraffes to show you what i mean. This is how i would've composed it

That's a nice snap, I particularly like the rust look. The second idol is a little distracting, you can even try removing it, and taking the snap from a little higher angle too..

THanks Sahil.. Will try out your suggestion too.

One more for the day - Sunset from the window..

P.S: I had to photoshop an entire length of wire that was unavoidable. :P
