Flamingos at Sewri, this morning.

The photo looks a bit overexposed to me. The sun probably reflected strongly off your new Patek Phillipe watch. :P

What lens did you use ?

^hah! No, I've PPed it a bit, using my DA55-300, max zoom. f/6.3 or f/8, can't remember. Had to bring out shadow details, lighting was pathetic. Direct harsh sunlight, reflecting off the salt pans.

Nice Pics Faheem.

@Mayur ur sea pics are out of focus. Focus should be on the foreground instead on sky. As the sky is bright, the autofocus will go to sky by default, so you need to check that before clicking. Also some pics has too much of sky.

Too much sky...little water below looks odd..if you wanted to show the rays and clouds..you could have clicked a vertical shot..which would give you enough length to cover more water.

You could have framed without fingers getting cropped.

Nice... but center composition is not appealing.

Faheem, Mayur nice pics.

Mayur apart from the OOF sea, there is a brilliant cloud formation. Give HDR a shot...

An old snap of a Shiv Mandir:

The pic is dark, because I wanted to get the striking evening sky. Apparently I have not got a hang of focus lock technique yet, need to practice that usage more. but 1000D's lack of focus point is already a disadvantage there :(
