Woaahhh.......ravikantt....could you share with us how did you click the above three pics. the first two seem like long exposure shots with hdr if i'm not mistaken. the 3rd one has me confused.

Its not HDR. Its exposure blending for first 2 shots. i.e Clicked two pics with different exposures and merged in Photoshop. One is long exposure shot for water, 5sec. And another is 1/20sec exposure for sky. And played with curves to tune the lighting. For 1st shot, applied motion blur to sky, to bring the sky in sync with water flow.

3rd Pic is a Photo merge of 8shots clicked in continuous shutter mode. Sun-rays and Lens flare are added in Photoshop to make it more dramatic.

Sharpen with high amount, low radius.

I think you are doing it the other way round. This will avoid the stong halos that you get.
 
i'd say the halos are due to improper HDR processing and not due to sharpening...halos due to sharpening are not so soft and they are limited to edges,visible only at close inspection

@Pappu and Touzeen - I did not do HDR. But i tried exposure blending. So the halos might be due to the inaccurate masking at the edges.
