I am going to take part in few on the spot photography competitions in coming month but I don't know what all happens in such events. Please let me know how should I prepare? Can i use automatic settings that time or it should be done manually in front of judges. Please guide me.

I was out roaming on the sea shore . Suddenly i found something unusual .

Sea Snake taking a sun bath !

They say sea snake are deadliest among all the snakes .
I preferred to keep safe distance while i was clicking him .
After few minutes ,He was on his way back to deep sea.
