Used a CPL Filter.

Like Touzeen said, it saturates the blues and removes some reflection from water, glass ,etc. Next time, I'll try to get some with and without CPL shots.

The CPL helped the cause for the background. The bird was a tad more overexposed than what you see. Did some dodging/burning to neutralize the exposure.
