Hello :)

I was going through my backlog list and wanted to pick up The Saboteur and play it since I had missed playing this game and from the videos on Youtube I liked what I saw of the gameplay. But the problem is I've read about the game having major issues running on a quad-core system specifically with ATI cards. Now my question is, I'm going to be running the game on my system (system specs in my siggy) on Windows 7 (64bit), will I be able to run the game? Does the 'Beta Patch 1.3' solve any of the problems when used along with the method listed in the link below:

TIA

@jojothedragon: Yup, true. I'm just looking for a heads-up to know if that patch is at all necessary or the game will run fine on my quad and HD7850 combo.

@Black_Hawk I suggest you install the patches otherwise you will face texture issues. They are Not major but minor only but its better if you install that. :)

Awrite guys I will install the Beta patch 1.3. After installing the patch do I need to set affinity and deselect 2 cores to make the the game run or will I be good to go after just patch installation?

No infact i did not faced any major glitch problem even without installing the patch. And even after patch i don't think so cause i didn't.

Thanks Altair and whatsinaname, really appreciate the info guys. I will install the game + patch and post back on how the game is running on my rig. :)

EDIT: Okay so I installed the game, patched it with the 1.3 Beta patch and fired up the game after playing around with the graphics options in the game's launcher for a bit. Completed the first mission and the game is running like a gem so far. Hope it continues to do so. The graphics still look pretty sweet. :)
