I dont think Grudge is scary, i saw it in the Midnight, din't feel anything.

@kino if you want Grudge then come and get it from me.

OT: Damn..............., the Chennai people are very unlucky, we peoples don't get the Pay Channels like Star, Cartoon Network, Tens Sport, HBO, etc... to see these channels we have to pay for the channel we want and we should buy a Instrument called Set top box:@ :@

sucks for you guys. Hopefuly it'll get better.

Guys,Don't even bother watching the Heebies jeebies,I can describe it in 1 beautiful word 'GARBAGE'.It's not by the creators of jeepers creepers though it's written in the cover.

But here's the good news,I googled for some info and found tht jeepers creepers 3 is currently in development and will be released this year.:)

The above stated 5 facts...are not true....i prefer evil dead, exorcist, omen, dracula to TEOER
And yea...some scenes are really funny:D

Grudge on Friday the 13th was not scary at all....was good in the beginning....but somewhere down the line...the movie lost its flow.....isnt very good in my opinion....

Quiet true...i mean, they completely screwed up the english version...moreover, all those boo moments were skipped on star movies to make it a movie suitable for 15 yr old kids..bull$hit... why show it on tv in the first place then..if you take out the horror out of a horror movie...:@

Anyways, it wasnt good at all..not even nearly as scary as the original Ju-on,ringu or even the angrezi Ring..:@

By the way, that very night, i watched 'The wrong turn' on star movies.

Though not a scary movie, it was kindof interesting..but reminded me vaguely of the more brilliant Texas chainsaw massacre...

Yea...most of the horror movies or any other movies for that matter aired on HBO or Star Movies get ads at the best possible climax scenes...thereby rendering the climax useless and spoiling the fun of the movie.

This includes humourous movies like Rush Hour also.

As for The Grudge, i would like to see the japanese version with subtitles or proper dubbing:)

Keep an eye open, you may see it on hbo late nights, cos i saw it thr only..and as such thr were no cuts..it wasnt a dubbed version, but had sub titles which is pretty good for understanding, as the dubbed version more or less kills the fun factor..:)
Also, though the original ju-on is creepy as hell, story and plotwise, i'll still rate Ringu over ju-on..ju-on seems more intent on scarying the $hit out of you without enough homework on storyline, whereas ringu(the ring) has a story to tell along with the creeps!!

Yep, all time favourites would be

Ju-On

Ringu series

Night of Living Dead (More gory than creepy)

The Exorcist (Dominion was crap)

The Others

Dawn of the Dead (the Original. Though the remake was kinda ok)

Runner ups

Friday the 13th

Blairwitch Project

Alien

Signs
