Star sports is not carrying live Qualifying broadcast. It will air at 9:30PM ( thanks to Stoke City vs. Chelsea :death: ). Will have to catch it on internet tv.
What is this Internet TV you speak about?

Massa pwns in street races :P

Freaking INSANE lighting on the track, any clue on what wattage/technology is being used?

It was much too close. Massa and Hamilton were always known to be good at this sort of thing. Good show from Kimi too with some rarely seen aggressiveness from him. I was hoping Heiki would've done better now that the constructors is also heating up, but it wasn't meant to be....:(

what happened to alonso.. i think he messed up qualifyings...

Engine died on him... He looked like he was going to explode from anger which explains why he was hugging himself after stepping out of the car.:p

Looks like Starsports won't be messing up the timings this time around. Raceday's at 4:30 PM while the race itself 45 minutes later.

from what i saw, i bet there will be a ton of cars in barriers and safety car laps coz of that

track to bumpy and throwing people off

btw, i love the way Alonso keeps crying :)

sooo like the behaviour at mclaren :bleh:

The Official Formula 1 Website

ooh and btw, if this were in India, i would expect an appropriately timed power cut :)

well the reason that they wanted a night race is that they are trying that on all new venues in the far east so that races air at the right time in Europe.
what this means is that even if India ever got a GP, it will be floodlit as well

Overtaking is going to be next to impossible.

Some pitlane poker .. safety cars can ruin the race to.. aah almost forgot that rain predicted for the weekend.

IMO such races where overtakingis not possible s not good for the sport .. agreed night races are ... BLING RACES .. but no overtaking and it can be very monotous .. and some drivers might doze off to sleep .. and cause mistakes too :P

and guys when ever they crash into the barriers water spill out of those plastic box or wahtever that was ,but steve slaters says its the water from the rain:S

yeah i noticed that too :)
my friend says it rains there in the daytime usually so must be leftovers

and btw, the commentators were saying overtaking is possible but it seems near impossible as the end of the long straight they talk about has a 280kmh bend with no runoff area lolz
man those people talk shit sometimes :bleh:

ALONSO ESCAPES OPENING LAP CHICANERY

Just as Lewis Hamilton was penalised for gaining an advantage for cutting a chicane at Spa, replays of the first corner incident have shown that Alonso's first corner momentum was aided greatly by his failure to use the circuit.

Starting from 15th on the grid, Alonso was on a low-fuel, soft tyre strategy in a bid to make up places as quickly as possible on the opening lap. He placed his Renault tight into the inside of the track at Turn 1 with almost no room to make the turn and simply cut the chicane to avoid getting stuck in the traffic jam of other cars.

His failure to take the racing line into the corner alongside Jenson Button's Honda allowed him to overtake the Brit and claim 12th place on the opening lap, while Button slipped down to 14th place.

Stewards decided not to investigate this or the moves of Nelson Piquet and Nick Heidfeld who also benefitted from not using the tarmac.

Alonso and Heidfeld were both critical of Hamilton's move at Spa with Alonso pointing out that even though Hamilton did not gain a place on Kimi Raikkonen he would not have had the same momentum if he had been forced to take the chicane "that is what they are there for" said the Spaniard.
