Dude, add cloverfield to your list. Its one of the best thrillers of recent times. I regret not watching it in a theater, the experience would have been spectacular.

Seriously, watch every movie of Kevin Smith (I). Its worth it.

Apart from Clerks pretty much all his movies have some really crappy moments like the screaming fit the girl has in Chasing Amy toward the end. The other ones are just light hearted entertainers.
