We have known that since the day Hegseth got nominated. Trump 2.0 = unconditional backing in exchange for unquestioning loyalty. That's why all his picks are low to no experience people who can't command any respect on their own, in fact he has actively picked people who have very public weaknesses that can be exploited by Trump when convenient.

They have all been confirmed by the senate. You are reusing the oppositions arguments made before the confirmation and demonstrated to be all false.

The opposition isn't going to meddle in his appointments like the last time around. General Flynn for example.

Getting back to the tariffs thing just see the difference between the two. Trump is talking and making statements. I don't hear anything from the CCP. It's only their media doing the talking.

Fifteen of the top economies are in talks with the US to finalise a deal. Everybody is flying to the US.

Who is going to China for talks?

Instead XJP goes to visit Malaysia, Vietnam & Cambodia. These countries launder Chinese products and pass them off as their own. Incidentally also countries with high tariffs who will have to choose between the US or China.
