The Trumps & Elon tweets thread (Had to make this since it's never ending)

I would say it's the other way around. He's the one with the money.

Why do so many not get this basic point?
The thing is neither China wants to labor nor India wants to be a cyber coolie for west.

China got old before it got rich. India lost it best and brightest to being IT coolies instead of going DeepTech. Global South spent their resources, exploited their population, polluted their air, waters and land. Global South got short end of the stick while West earned all the money, it's citizens enjoyed cool life, clean environment and lectured others sanctimoniously about pollution and human rights.

Now China, India believe they have out grown the dependence. They want to move up the value chain.

West will now have to spend their resources, exploit their population, pollute their own air, waters and land, they will have to go back to child labor and long working hours for adults.

West made merry on back of artificially strong currency. That strong back of the west is now broken. So, the said money they have is no longer worth that much.

What do you mean by outgrown their dependence?

China needs markets just as we do for services. Neither of us can do without trading with the US. There is no one who can replace the US as customer.

Both are dependent on the US. Have not outgrown the US

Read my both posts collectively.

1. We will need to find other markets.
2. Above is not a choice. West is no longer going to remain the market it is. They will no longer be able to afford to import so much.

It has nothing to do with Trump...

Only thing Trump will do is He will make it even more painful.
Yes this is what the opposition is saying but what is Trump saying

China will hurt more!

The point about dolls is important

Majority of China's products are non essential products. A luxury afforded by disposable income. Americans can do with less or none of these products for a while. Can China bear that for as long? No

Obvious when you consider it's a buyers market and not a sellers market. Yeah?

So the US has China by the balls and not the other way around

West is a large collective. The Euros will take time to recover but the US will recover the fastest.

Not so with China. Their recovery will be stalled. I'm hoping we get another two more months of this drama because then you're going to see China reeling. July is when the 90 days end, counting from April. July is when the tariffs kick in for any country that didn't get a deal done by then with the US

China's GDP contracts. Bad news for the CCP.
China's GDP contracts. Bad news for Chinese manufacturing &jobs. All runs on very thin margins. Always assuming demand is constant. Screw with that demand then you create huge traffic pileup in the supply chain.

Therefore the collective west will recover and remain the market it is.

Where are the other countries with rising GDPs that will eclipse the EU. These other markets you refer to?

Only India. And the sooner the World's leaders understand how important India is to global recovery the better off we will all be

See how the US is dismantling Chinese transhipment

XJP recently visited Vietnam and told them not to side with the US but Vietnam has no choice. 50% of Vietnamese GDP depends on US sales

Another country XJP recently visited. Same deal. Side with the US lose with China. Malaysia chose the US. This is interesting because China has depended on a couple of ASEAN countries to scuttle any anti China ASEAN resolutions. Here Trump has done it to China. Broken the anti tariffs front in ASEAN that China was putting up.

Third and last country XJP visited. Cambodia is likely China's strongest ally in ASEAN but seems they want to diversify. This can't have gone down well in Beijing.

ASEAN depends on China for trade but the US for security because they don't trust China. Without security you cannot trade anyway.

Striking statement coming from Singapore. Technically she's right, just saying.

Singapore is an important hub for Chinese trade to ASEAN. Lot of business shifted to from HK here after the takeover

Korean customs discovered China passing their products as made in korea to avoid Trump's tariffs :hilarious:

What is the result? Formerly China friendly countries are turning against China in their national interest

All the transhipment routes are getting plugged.
