The truth about Marijuana

It alters perception, hence is toxic.

I don't think it causes long-term damage if sensibly used - I know a lot of people who've done it and are fine. I also know of one who used it a lot to combat depression, and he killed himself. I don't know if it's the dope that did him in though, he was unstable to start with.

But I'd be cagey about using potentially toxic material in a child's notebook, for example.

Many of those facts are accurate, but the truth usually goes beyond facts. And the fact is that it is a very biased article. The words "Marijuana Conspiracy" sound like the invention of someone with a very active imagination and one who would likely be a conspiracy theorist.

The pot plant is an ALIEN plant. There is physical evidence that cannabis is not like any other plant on this planet. One could conclude that it was brought here for the benefit of humanity.

Yeah, yeah, we know.

Its making the case for legalisation (without saying it ;))

If hemp were to be used in industry it would be rather pointless to *still* retain its Class 'B' drug status.

OMG you guys need to look up the virtues of Hemp, it's non-toxic and is already used in many many products. I guess living in California I am overly aware of these issues but here Hemp made products are pretty easy to find.

Marijuana is semi-legal here for Medical use, but there is still the disagreement of State level and Federal laws here. Marijuana has been made Medically legal on a State level but the Feds keep coming in and trying to close the places down.

I have a good friend that had breast cancer and the only thing that dulled the nausea from the radiation and chemotherapy and her an appetite to eat food, was smoking marijuana. Like many things, it is only really harmful when abused.

Hmmm...

The best marijuana is the world is from 'Idukki' in India, as per a book by a European writer... forgot his name... (no, I never used drugs in my life :) ). Anyway Idukki is a beautiful place...

Isn't industrial hemp and marijuana a bit different ?

Though people in cities can't recognise marijuana plant by looks, I have seen it in very decent center of Mumbai - at Nariman Point. Grown in garden plant pot just in front of big name buildings... Disappeared after reaching 2ft high... :)

Male and female marijuana plants can be recognised by their flowers....

The gum which form on your hand after handling marijuana plants is extremely costly and give high kick ... :)
