Nope, they are not.

Also, i am also interested in getting a thermal pad for my laptop. Same size.

Yes, a link would be useful. I'd sent my HP/ Compaq laptop for repair but those buggers never re-installed the thermal pad/ solution. The laptop has been overheating ever since it came back. Now I've opened the laptop and been looking for this for over 2 months so I can close it. Hope I can put it back together now :p
 
I did same with HP laptop from famous NVIDIA crap.

I did purchase new motherboard from usa.

Then while installing,realised that great NVIDIA had burnt the thermal pad and it made its indent on even copper bottom of heatsync.

I will post link when I get full pc.

Right now I am living totally without laptop or desktop for last week or so.

Happy with my ATRIX and focus.

Both work wonders together.
